If you have flea markets nearby I would check them first, but they can be had real cheap at Harbor Freight or online.

Anything is possible but probably more work than it’s worth.🧐 Just add some anti-slip vacuum caps and all is good.🙂 It can even grip and clamp non-parallel surfaces.

The beauty of these are that you have a clamping range from zero to more than you likely need. Most dedicated clamps that are large enough to span 2”-3” have far too heavy of a spring and will crush delicate assemblies. These can be tightened as much or little as needed, but as Noel said over-tightening them may damage them? I can’t imagine needing that much pressure but…? I’ve had these cheapos in the garage for probably 25 years and don’t recall ever using them for anything.🤔

Pic says it all! Clamping pressure is completely adjustable. You could slide a couple of rubber vacuum port plugs over the tips to make them more versatile.

You can also google 1:1 suicide axle setups to see how they are done…then just try to emulate that look. And not really a suicide front, but one I used on a build.

Thanks for posting this Bill !🙂 I’m sure glad my 2017 F250 has the 6 speed. I’ve had no issues so far and reports indicate that it is a very reliable unit. They started using the 10 speeds in 2017 and I wouldn’t have known at the time (no one would) to avoid it.😬

The roof is too narrow to mount those mirrors up high. They look out of place there in my opinion.

That is what I try to do also if there are no definite mounting points. These are 0.020” brass pins if I recall.

A couple of supercharged big block chevy injections should clear that up.😜 Just kidding….paint looks nice!🙂

According to “google AI” they belong on the doors near the front fenders, but….”check the instructions”.🙄 I haven’t seen them on any pics I’ve googled.

I made a pattern of the bed floor with masking tape, trimmed it and stuck it on some regular paper. Then I colored the paper black with a felt pen and photocopied it. Then I ironed the edge banding onto the paper (black side down) and trimmed it to shape.

I googled it a number of ways and this is the closest image I could find.

Welcome to the forums Johnathan. That is an ambitious initial project, but you will find everyone here very helpful. Just ask and someone will eventually chime in. One bit of advice I can give you is don’t get too hung up on making everything perfect. Just try to improve a bit with each new project.
