John, the splines were done on my 1/25 scale milling machine.๐คฃ๐คฃ No, seriously, I just pressed hard and rolled a fine single cut file over a piece of 1/16โ aluminum rod at the appropriate angle to get the score marks aligned. Looking over my thread, I realize that I missed posting pics of the completed interior. And I got the engine, drivetrain and exhaust installed. I removed the molded in kit fuel rails and added some scratch built ones.- 118 replies

Finally got motivated again and got some gloss black paint on the box and roof. Finished up the bed floor and rails too. Real black walnut edge banding with scratch made rails covered with BMF. Itโs not glued in yetโฆthat will be a next to last step.- 118 replies

Another round of putty, and it still needs moreโฆ.mostly smoothing out now. I fixed up both of the A-Pillars that I replaced and re-scribed the door lines too. -

Usually an internal structure would be easier to attach. I did it to this Jeepster when I changed the front clip and opened the hood. Also on this โ51 Chevy when I chopped and channeled it. -
