I’ll try my local auto parts stores Steve but they don’t really have many colors. That’s why I was looking for model masters. I looked at the larger on line hobby stores Mark. But they don’t have all the colors.

Yikes. So sorry it happened to you.

I want to buy Model Master's engine paint colors. But can't seem to fin a place that carries all the colors. Is there one particular on-line shop that people buy them from? Pontiac blue. Chevy red. Chrysler red and blue. Buick blue. Ford red and blue.

Thanks guys. Wayne. Your chevy is beautiful and I agree about the metallics. My 67 Camaro was light blue metallic and same results. They seem to be difficult. I’ll try the lighter coat applications David. I think this was 3 coats.

This was started and red plastic when I bought it. Parts where chopped as the original owner was going to build it as a stock car. I had to glue some parts back together. And there is another part to this which I will add when it’s finished. Something from the big parts lot I bought a while back. When choosing which wheels to use. I choose these and the thought “I’ve seen these before”. And the added part fell into being built. I’ll update that part later. Color is Rustoleum Copper metal finish. She’s done. “. (Now with the matching trailer.)

Not happy with the paint. There is something with me a gold pint that just doesn’t work. Testers Gold. No matter what brand they always come out dull. 4 Purple ponds and resprays I said to heck with it. But all in all came out nice.

Your detail amazes me Steven. I could never do it because I have a hard enough time trying to pick a dime up off the floor because of my Renaud's disease. Can't feel anything with my fingers.
