    Riviera

I saw this Welly Riviera today at Rite Aid for $9.99. I should have bought it but I have enough die casts that are packed away. But Target is asking $24.99 for the same car. And right now Rite has 20% off all regular purchases. Thought I'd put it out there.
  5. Nice job.
  6. You build models I've never seen before. Are they only sold in Europe? Beautiful car.
  7. Beautiful!
  8. Very nice. I love seeing the models you never knew existed.
  9. Really beautiful.
  10. Awesome!
  11. Looking good.
  12. Sorry to hear about your parents. Great work on the model.
  13. Looking great.
  14. Looks great. Like the color combo.
  15. Oh no. When I bought it at a flea market it was brush painted orange. I stripped the body and interior and sprayed it.
  16. You are right David. I like it this way.
  17. Thank you. I have the decals. Just didn’t know if I wanted to put them on. I kind of like it’s plain.
  18. I bought this kit that was 90 percent built. Brush painted orange. I was able to get it apart and I re-did the interior and exterior. This was soaked in purple power 4 times because I would somehow make the paint crinkle. Decals? Or no decals.
  19. Thanks everyone. I was amazed at how much inner front fender I had to shave off. If I didn't there would have been gaps looking at the front tire from under the hood. And yes Andre. I tried every tire I had but none would fit those wheels that came with it. So yes. The dreaded split tires. grrr. I had to shave quite a bit of the front bumper down for that to fit and cut the bumper brackets in back to make that bumper work. I agree Dominik. I'm starting to dread opening doors and trunks also. LOL I have another 57 in the purple power right now. That was a mess. Brush painted black. Red brush painted interior. Hood is cut for the blower so a hot rod it will be. I did like the flame decals on it but they are now gone. And most of the models I have built while a member of this forum have been started kits I bought cheap. I'm hoping to use those to get my building skills a bit better. Then onto the new ones I have.
  20. I bought this kit started at a garage sale. That's why the front windshield looks so bad. I had to cut it out before it went into the purple power. The suspension, motor. all built for hot rod. But I do stock. So here it is finally.
  21. That's awesome. You could build those and sell them on eBay for Christmas.
  22. Looks great.
  23. The Micheals by me said they are not going to carry models anymore. I just bought a Titanic model at Micheals for my nephews to build and they are ringing up at $16.00. Not the $29.95 that is on the shelf.
  24. Chicken breast seasoned with Greek seasoning then sautéed in olive oil and chopped garlic. With the drippings I added 2 tables butter then 2 tbs of sour cream to make it a cream sauce. Mashed potatoes with sour cream and chives with ginger/honey glazed carrots.
  25. I thought you could stay in them for free. You shouldn’t have to pay rent. Sad. Glad you are well Terry.
