  1. LOL Exactly that. I had that Tamiya 959 as a kid and even then I was disappointed with it. If I remember correctly it was a curbside, and a very light one at that.
  2. Fantastic. I’d like to do one of these someday.
  3. My booth is too low to do either comfortably. Kneeling is awful. Lol
  4. What a crazy design! Like a door stop with wheels. Something you can point to if someone says a Lamborghini is too angular. You did a great job on it. I’ll have to look at it on my PC later to enjoy it better.
  5. Sorry man. That’s just awful. I really like what you did with the F40 LM. It looked amazing.
  6. Love it!
  7. Oooo. Good idea. I did orange but you can’t even tell. I hit it with the motlow (?) first. Thanks!!
  8. Almost bought the Tamiya yesterday when I saw it at the LHS. This one was still enjoyable, and I have 3 more Fujimi Ferraris (plus I have it on good authority the wife is giving me 3 for Christmas). Thanks for the compliment.
  9. It’s the Fujimi. I have a hard time seeing past every flaw that I know exists.
  10. The hard fought build of the F40 is done. I learned a lot of what not to do with PE parts (my first time). It’s not perfect but I’m happy overall. I gotta do another one of these, maybe yellow tho...
  11. Thanks for all the positive comments guys! There’s a lot I’ll do different on the next one and it’s been a good PE learning experience.
  12. Thanks!
  13. Closer
  14. Exactly what I should have done. Oh well, I'll probably grab this kit again in the future. I think I need to do the yellow Competizione... with out the canards. Thanks for the link. The more I look at stuff for the build the more I realize there's a lot wrong with this car. Oh well, the average person seeing my collection would never know, and really, beside my online posts, no one sees them at all.
  15. Trim is painted, canards are on, rear needs paint touch-up...polishing some of the paint flaws...finding more. Curse this headlamp, now I see EVERYTHING! Lol
  16. Hey Tommy, I think you'll like the headlamp. It gets heavy on the nose after about a half hour, but surprisingly it works really good for the price. I did glue in the glass already, but that's ok...I have a pretty steady hand and with the new vision assistance it's going well. I've noticed that seeing all the little flaws has slowed my progress as I am fixing stuff I wouldn't have seen before. I'll post up a few more pics tonight. I really had some issues with the canards on the front bumper...honestly at this point I wish I'd left them off. Oh well.
  17. It’s on the list. Unfortunately I got ahead of myself and glued in the glass. Oh well. It adds to the challenge.
  18. Making some more progress on the F40. This is the first kit I’ve had with PE parts. They’re kinda cool, but honestly I’d rather not mess with them. The rear will need touch up paint and I’m dang scared to put on the canards.
  19. The dash was too light for my taste so I reshot it with a darker grey. I also opted to add the passenger seat (not shown in the assembly instructions). I had one day where all I did was go backwards. I had to repaint the passenger door 3 times. Lol. Oh well. I also picked up a cheap headlamp/magnifying lense. It’s already helped me get a better dashboard on this car.
  20. Amazing detail and the interior is awesome. I grew up in a Ford family in the 80’s. This feels very familiar to me.
  21. Freaking fantastic!
  22. Sweet. Looks awesome.
  23. This!!!! OMG ?
