  1. I’m gonna blame my bad eye.
  2. My coworker.
  3. My wife tells everyone I'm 6'4"...which I was when we met in 1993... I think I'm lucky to clear 6'2" now. My posture is terrible, my back isn't great and I literally feel crushed by life somedays. LOL
  4. Maybe an improvement... Testors always seemed like it took way to long to cure for my taste anyway.
  5. That's awesome. I still have one of AFX G-Plus cars from when I was a kid.
  6. Four days later, I'm just seeing this? How did I miss it? This is gonna be sweet. My color vote is Red....Nah, I had to say it, but that Blue Superdan posted is killer.
  7. Very well done. I want to do one of these at some point. I'm a recovering VW guy so it's got a great appeal, but mine would be "lightly modded"
  8. Wow, that picture of my finger really turned out well. LOL
  9. @Tommy124, something like this? It’s hard to photograph but I took a #62 drill, heated the blunt end and pushed down the buttons leaving a ridge around them. Then I drilled out the center with a #67, painted rod and glued it in. I have a couple left to do and 2 or 3 I couldn’t do because of them being too close to others. If I did this all over again I’d do it before painting and with even smaller tools/rod.

  11. I love those old Audi ralleye cars. I'll be following this one.
  12. That's a great idea. I'll have a look and see what I can come up with for rod. What if a guy put a tiny button on the end of the drill-sized rod, painted the button and then pushed the whole thing in? Since it appears each button is very small with a guard around it. Looks like it's time for a trip to the LHS for some Evergreen rod.
  13. I take my pictures with my phone and upload them, but I have to resize each one first...very seldom does it let me upload a photo without even some minor cropping.
  14. Great little Mazda. The color is spot on and the pop up lights are a great touch.
  15. Suspension and brakes are on. And I’ve started the interior. I didn’t care for the buttons on the center console. It’s hard to tell from the photos but I used heated drill bit to recess them to look more like the real thing. A little paint should help too but my eyes are tired.
  16. Looks great. Those old Escorts are so cool.
  17. You’re in the home stretch. That thing is really beautiful. You’ve got a museum quality build there.
  18. Fresh from Germany ?? for an upcoming project.
  19. Ah finally back at this one. But that’s the brakes...no, these are.
  20. It’s over in the under glass section now. PE came with the kit from Fujimi
  21. Thank you! I’d say it’s worth it. I’ve seen a few on eBay for $20. I can’t wait to see what you do. Thank you. Thank you. That’s high praise after seeing yours! Thanks Thank you!
  22. Looks super! Will be following this one as well.
  23. Very nice! Love the level of details.
  24. OOOOhhhh... now that you say it... it wasn't the Tamiya. I had the Testors 959. It was a few years ago (1984?)
