    I've not checked progress on this in a while. It's coming along great. I'm excited to watch this unfold, and I'm contemplating picking up a big scale car in the future. I just don't think I can do it justice...

    Cool. It's nice to read something like this. I like this forum, not a bunch of keyboard warriors with a chip on their shoulders and something to prove. Genuinely good people.

    Thanks Dann. It's gone from one of my most hated projects to one that I can't wait to work on more. Yup. The seats are on the work bench. It's not quite the same color as the real deal but it has a nice buttery appearance. I used the same interior color on a Mercedes coupe I did and was very pleased with how it looks as a whole.

    Thanks guys. The color turned out just as I had hoped and there’s no dust/particulates in it. The photos really don’t capture the hue properly. It’s a bit lighter in person

    Looks fantastic. I haven't built a 911 since I was a wee lad. This has reminded me how much I love them. Might have to look into something...at any rate, I'm following this.

    Went to do a repaint of the interior and while lightly flexing the roll bar to remove it it snapped in half. The core looked weird. This kit has some plastic issues. Looks like I’ll be using the interior of the second kit. Oh well...

    Not yet. To summarize; initial body issues, paint problems, more body issues, new body, newly discovered color combo... hopefully in the next couple weeks I'll have it painted and the interior redone.

    Well, the wife cleaned out under the coffee table and this magazine made its way to the top. Looks like I’m taking this kit in a new direction. Time to change the interior and hunt for a light blue metallic.

    Slowly advancing the Miura. My semigloss black is a bit too gloss but besides you guys and me, no one will see the inside. This is a pretty cool kit. I’d be willing to do another one in the future.

    Birthday was last weekend but Japan Post wasn’t timely enough. Thanks tho. The 928 was probably 1/18, but bigger than 1/24. Lol

    Whoa ?. Sweet. The only large scale I ever did was the Tamiya 928. I was a kid so it was awful, but so cool to do something big!
