    I found a nice set of rims from a '68 Shelby 3-in-1 in my parts box. They fit the tires from the Mach 1 perfectly.

    In my humble opinion, the 1969 Mustang fastbacks are beautiful. Especially the Mach 1s. Again, just my opinion.

    Alright, time to get back to this. I kinda changed my plans a bit. I’m going to use the chassis and interior from the Mach 1, but pretty much everything else will be from the Shelby. Here is everything I’ll be using from the Mach 1.

    I’m in need of a 300C.I. straight-six for the Union Pacific themed Mustang. Are there any kits that I could borrow one from?

    Did some test fitting - it appears that the chassis and interior pan from the Shelby will fit under the Mach 1 with some modification. The wheelbase is almost identical, but the chassis is just a little too wide. The interior pans are pretty close, too.
