  1. Can you use it with spray cans too?
  2. The second battery for the camper makes sense that would explain it.... Good info on the kit, good place for parts if I need them I think in this case just filling like that is going to be the way to go...
  3. Yup that looks like it.... So square it out it is, I don't need 2 batteries this thing is not a diesel.... Thanks guys...
  4. Interesting I didn't know that and that would explain may be why I cut it to start with. The original build on this for me was well over 30 years ago so who knows what I was thinking LOL...
  5. I don’t what to do it hood closed I kind of like building the engines so I think then the best bet is just squaring it out as suggested. The battery is on the other side so it’s a lot harder to notice a missing washer bottle than the battery
  6. I have this old Blazer kit from my youth I’m rehabbing but I noticed part of the front of the fender well is cut out, not sure why I did that but now I need to repair it. I’m think there was a radiator over flow bottle there but what do you all think...
  7. Well if you ask what's best you will get about 60 different answers, a little exaggerated but you get the idea. I personally like using rattle cans for paint, I use mostly Dupli-color, for glue I use mostly red tube testors and I use professional sandpaper but these are the things I'm comfortable working with and fit my skill level.
  8. I would bet it let's hot air out of the compartment rather then let cold in....
  9. I was in mine a few days agoand nothing new, figures the one I wanted the most my store didn't get. I wanted 2 of the Dodge fever...
  10. Great build, I have that kit and haven't built it yet. What blue did you use?
  11. I like that, very simple doing it too. Nice...
  12. Interesting idea.... that would be great on round lights...
  13. I don't go to the bar often but that's a good idea...
  14. Way back when I drove a tow truck all the tow bodies were built by Jerr-Dan so I would bet at least those decals came from a tow truck kit.
  15. I tend to put them back in the box for a while and I usually don’t use parts from another kit unless they are left over parts. If I decide I totally went the wrong way and don’t want to build it I take 2 steps back and punt and make it a rebuilder and basically start over. I recently finished a 1/16th 55 Belair I started at least 20 years ago and have started doing little things on 3 others I started back then too... they will get done eventually...... maybe...
  16. Looks about right, I think this kit they were red plastic but that's an easy change for them to change in each carnation of the kit...
  17. It is this kit and it's 1/24th
  18. I never really thought about it before but you can bet I will from now on...
  19. Recently finished a trade with br67, Brandon was great and I'd trade with him anytime...
  20. All great ideas, I’ll get one of them to work that’s for sure...
  21. This is an old custom from my youth I just started rehabbing, originally built in the late 70’s and customized in the early 80’s
  22. Hmmmmm, possible, that gives me an idea though. I wonder is there is a soda bottle thats red? Dr. Pepper is to dark... I like the Alteza tail light idea, that's a good alternative and makes for much more leave way....
  23. Both very good options, I'll have to stop next time I see a broke tail light on the road, I'll start digging in the window box now
  24. Anyone have any suggestions for a way to make a set of tail lights for this?
  25. I usually refer to mine as just what it is "the basement" but on sometimes I will refer to it as I'm going to "my desk" because I don't have the whole basement.
