  1. Welcome aboard Kurt. There are many modelers like you from all over the world who are members here. The hobby is truly global.
  2. I did some early morning grocery shopping before the weekend crowd showed up so I can kick back. I'm on vacay this week.
  3. He and longtime tag team partner and friend Luke Williams were fan favorites in the WWE especially in the 1980s. Their comical antics kept the fans entertained. He'll be missed.
  4. One word came to mind after looking at the photos of the car, "SWEET"
  5. I got my weekly groceries at Market Basket early this morning so I could both avoid the crowd that shops later in the day and kick back.
  6. Atlantis has been in putting lots of effort to fix the old Revell tooling since it bought it and the other tooling of Monogram, Renwal and Aurora from the current owners of Revell back in 2018 given their age. So far the result have been pretty good from what I know so hopefully they can do the same with the 57 Nomad tooling.
  7. It sounds crazy but when I got up to get ready for work early this morning, I heard birds chirping outside of my bedroom window and it was still dark outside,
  8. I read Atlantis's Facebook page and the company says the tooling for the 1957 Chevy Nomad is undergoing repairs. The kit was listed in the company's previous catalog so I'm speculating Atlantis found hidden problems with the tooling before the kit was to go into production. Nothing was said on when the repairs will be completed.
  9. The Heller goods trailer will be perfect behind my 1993 Chevy Extended Cab promo. However, I'm drooling over the AMT 1960 Ford 3 in 1 pickup with the trailer. It generated lots of conversation and excitement at another thread that covered it.
  10. I bought a nicely built 65 El Camino off of E Bay a while ago and with it, I now have exactly 100 model cars and trucks. Half of them are on display. I never did imagine that I would have that many. It's a milestone. ?
  11. Thanks for the list. The TD Sidewinder is the one at the top of mine.
  12. Can't wait to see what the 15 kits are. Atlantis may have purchased more tooling from the new owners of Revell back in August of 2018 than we thought.
  13. Many thanks to you and the other Mods for getting the problem resolve Dave. It was quite annoying for all.
  14. I watched the episode "Pit Of Peril" yesterday on You Tube. The series brings back memories.
  15. I got the message as well.
  16. Deepest condolences to her family.
  17. Spielberg would have a tough time recreating the chase between the 67 Mustang and 68 Charger in "Bullit" which has gone on to become the granddaddy of all car chases in Hollywood history. Real men drove real cars then. I never was a fan of rebooting classic films.
  18. I got up late for work this morning but the boss gave me pass. Things have been going cuckoo there and here at home for almost the last two weeks. Thankfully, things have slowed down quite a bit.
  19. I was at the Classic Plastic Model Car Show this morning in Lawrence Mass. and scored six built cars including a 1962 Chevy Nova rag top and a 1976 Dodge Dart both of which were very nicely done. I also took time out to check out the models that were in the contest and I was totally blown away by the details on many of them. I had a great time.
  20. My 97 Honda Accord passed the annual state safety inspection with flying colors on Friday.
  21. Just got in the mail yesterday two nice built Road Runners. One's a 1976 from MPC and the other's a 1969 from Johan. The model that I want is a 1974 Chevy Caprice by MPC which I hope to find with a vendor at The Classic Plastic model car show in Lawrence Mass. on the second of October.
  22. Survey completed.
