  1. Very nice models of under-appreciated cars, at least in my opinion.
  2. Good idea there John on the transmission mount. Those little mounts are hard to get just right (at least for me)....and that was after it took me a long time to actually figure out exactly where they went?. Continuing to look really good?
  3. Another thing about not putting the front bumper on on this kit first is if you at least didn't test fit it and make necessary adjustments you will take a chance of messing up the nice paint you put on it. Just sayin'?
  4. Cool, pretty close to time to hit the track!!!!!
  5. Looks fine to me Buddy. Glad you went with the black headers too.?
  6. Thanks Mike, good info. I may brave it sometime.
  7. Thanks Roman. I tried it on and off and still struggling with it.
  8. Thanks Steve, and about the hood, I'm pretty sure I checked the air cleaner heigth and it was ok. Gotta be something else, it's done now and in the display case so like they say, it is what it is?
  9. For the type of car it is, the black work!!?
  10. Ya nailed that bad boy Tom, beeeee-utiful??
  11. You are soooooo right Steve. I have only been using it for about 4 years and the BMF still looks fine as I'm sure others will say. If it wasn't so da*n easy to use once you get used to it....... I just ordered the Matte to give it a try.
  12. Well Mike, masking and spraying the Molotow sounds good but, there are some curves and areas that would be hard to do (well at least for me). Also, what happens if you get a bit of bleed thru? I sure would hate to mess up a good paint job.
  13. Well Claude, that certainly is unique. Great work?
  14. Oh yeah Tom, that looks faaaaaan-tastic??
  15. Thanks Roman, but did you glue the bumper on first? I just can't get the bezels to fit flush top bottom and sides at all. Tried with the bumper glued on and now I'm trying to get it in with the bumper off. Freazzling my nerves?
  16. I was watching an older Mecom Auction at Kissamee, FL today and across the block was a 427 Cobra that according to the description was Carroll's actual driver for a while. It was being sold by its third owner and was restored and painted a different color (charcoal gray metallic) than what i was originally. In spite of this, it sold for a cool $5,200,000. Yep thats tight, 5 million 200.000. big ones.
  17. Well ,I never liked the Turbin's but I didn't want to buy wheels for it and found these in my limited stash and thought, well hey, they don't look half bad. I think the blach wash makes them stand out a bit. Thanks Steve.
  18. We have waited two Fridays in a row now from non to 5 for the Lowes contracted dish washer repairman to show up. The first time Lowes service said the agant that took the order forgot to hit send. They rescheduled the next available repair for today. As I said, no show. I was finally able to get thru to automated person with the reair company and it said "we have no order pending on this phone number. My wife is about to by paper plates and plastic utensils to eat with?
  19. Great to hear from you Buddy and thanks for the compliment!! I have an '87 T'bird Turbo Coupe, the '57 Filp front Chevy and '62 Pontiac Catalinain the works right now.
  20. Thankyou Steven. Thanks Peter, as I had said, my first pickup truck build.
  21. Well I did finally get mine. I know the markings are on the vast majority of the real cars but I love the look with them Well I did finally get mine to build. I know most all are the race marked cars but I just think it looks too cool with them. Anyway, as I said earlier, very nice work there Stephen.
  22. That dragster is just way too cool Harry, love the Corvette theme there.?
  23. Great and realistic looking '58 Helmut right down to the rain-drops?
  24. Ya know Bill, this is one of the most realistic models I've seen on here.
