  1. One day to get from Spain to Germany to Kentucky. Several weeks sitting in Kentucky. Our ability to create bureaucracy knows no limits.
  2. Looks to be some other kind of racing or custom pedals.
  3. That's nothing. I haven't even thought about posting a picture of my work pile, I mean bench. I really like the fact that you have a place to put up diagrams and schematics and pictures. I have been needing something like that for a while. just end up with piles of paper.
  4. I have found that there is no specific brand of paint that I can't make a mess of. I have used Rustoleum from a can that sat in my unheated garage for most of the winter, then painted in a snow storm and gotten great results. I have also taken time and warmed the paint and watched the weather and humidity and gotten terrible results. The good thing about rusto is that if I jack up the paint job I have plenty left in the can to try again. If I jack up a Tamiya paint job that little can is pretty much empty. I do more airbrushing now and way less rattle can stuff. I don't like decanting. I tend to make a giant mess. All that said, I wouldn't hesitate to use another big ol' can of rustoleum. I just know that it may not be perfect the first go.
  5. Saw this one a while back. Had to hunt the picture back down for this topic.
  6. Very cool. Great job
  7. All good info. This one is on my short list. I'll have to remember to reread when the time comes.
  8. Very cool. Awesome history and great job on the build.
  9. Came out great. I feel your pain on buying an "open box" kit that ends up missing several small parts for no apparent reason.
  10. Very cool! You'd never know the kit didn't come like that. Great work.
  11. I'm sure I will end up with the Cyclone. Maybe a Beretta if I feel creative. Overall looks like all will sell well.
  12. Only options I know of are to polish it out or throw it out. I usually end up doing the latter as I have never had success with the former.
  13. Wife picked this up at the bookstore. It is now our project. Mostly friction fit parts with some fiddly bits I have had to repair but overall a fun little kit so far.
  14. Good point. I know more than a few folks who in no way can afford the new latest and greatest and end up in over their heads on a 10 year old truck with 180K miles that they finance with a billion % interest. They can't imagine, or just don't want to admit that because they are still struggling with the $500/month payment for the next 8 years, that repairs will be needed. Over inflated price does not equate to mechanical longevity.
  15. Not my yard but at work... riding out the wind PXL_20250925_172809501.mp4
  16. 90's model F150 promos are usually pretty cheap on Ebay. May even be able to get a couple cheaper than you would a set of aftermarket wheels and tires.
  17. Aftermarket doesn't always provide exactly what every model requires. I would scratch build them.
  18. Or find a hungry panda...??
  19. Did custom leather work for a while. People don't understand that my time is actually worth something and that quality hand made items don't come cheap. Part of the problem is hacks selling something they threw together for half the price, the other part is cheap online junk with one day shipping that will fall apart in a week. But the picture looked so pretty online....
  20. I have a Grex Tritium with the pistol grip and love it. I also have a Badger and an Iwata. I tend to switch back and forth between the grex and the badger depending on what paint I am using. Each will perform as well as the other but I am somewhat superstitious so if I got a good paint job with enamels the last time with one airbrush, that becomes my enamel airbrush for a while.
  21. Thank you
