  2. Lars, that is one extraordinarily beautiful model! That scale really allows for showing the features off well. Looks just like a real machine and the colors are to die for! Great work..... Great pics.
  3. Very ,very nice... incredible! I love the leather highlights, and the way you have it displayed with the tools etc is very natural.
  4. Absolutely beautiful with an astonishing paint job! Your work is very, very clean. It’s funny.. this is one of those cars I’ve always found to be a very odd looking duck, but I have to admit that there is something appealing about the subtleness of its curves and lines... I like it! Great work and photography too?
  5. Charles, thanks for posting your work like this... it’s a beautiful thing to watch... and a very fine craftsman you are!
  6. Very nice for a snap kit Mike... beautiful blue paint job!
  7. I agree with all of what Snake said, except that I would first spray the body with matte black, then mist over that with silver, then spray the green on... if it were mine. The reason being that the black will fill in the panel lines, and if you don’t spray too much silver on, the darkness will be retained in the panel line for when you spray the green on, which will give a more natural effect without as much buildup needed with the green paint. However you choose to do it, I’m sure you will figure out how to get the results you’re looking for... just take your time and think it through?
  8. Hey Justin, what you’ve got done so far looks beautiful.
  9. Nice one Rich... it’s cool to see these uncommon race car builds.
  10. Helmut, it is not always the paint or anything else in particular that makes or breaks a model’s appearance. This is even true sometimes on real cars. There is a totally original ‘68 Charger in my town that’s green with a white stripe around the back and you can see all the spidery little crackles in the paint of the stripe. The car’s body has small dings and dents along the sides, but it is one of the coolest Chargers I have ever seen and I think they would ruin it if they were to restore the paint. That being said, some cars just have “the look” and I believe it applies with model cars as well, and your model is one of those cars for me.?
