  1. That’s cool! ... Nice job
  2. Hey Mark. I was looking through the WIP and have to say your scratch building is impressive. I’m learning stuff from your work... Way to stick with it on those wheels, I think the final results are pretty convincing. Those tail light lenses are fantastic! I also use scrap plastic like you, in fact that is my current project on the Daytona Coupe (update soon?) .... I was wondering what you used for the piping around those lenses? Cool stuff, keep it up?
  3. Super awesome build Rich! ...It looks real. Very nice job?
  4. Ray, that is awesome for a 1/32! ... I love your two tone color choice!
  5. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! ... Your work here is exceptional Chang, and your wonderful photography allows us to look in and properly admire this timeless beauty.
  6. Ahh shucks, I didn’t notice that .... Well, thanks for posting it.... Guess I’ll be heading to eBay.?
  7. Yes I, I agree that canopy glue seems to be the ticket here with finicky window assembly. It’s what I ended up using (was the first time I’ve ever used it), and wondered why I waited so long to try it. It is a tad more difficult to apply in tiny amounts such as on the end of a toothpick because of its thickness, but it adheres great and can be easily wiped off if you blunder or need to start over. I will still use C/A on most things however.
  8. Ron, thanks for spending the money and time to create that video! ...Certainly doesn’t leave anything lacking. I would like to learn how to get ahold of the E7.
  9. No need to apologize to me. I’m simply noting parallels... The old fart comment was a response to Reegs.
  10. And when Clint Eastwood said “get off my lawn” in the movie Gran Torino, it was quite dramatic as well... Lol BTW, I’m 49... ain’t old fart level yet.
  11. Nice engines. .....Knowing the scale of each would help too, and if any are 3D printed etc.
  12. Gran Torino ... kids squabbling ... old man gets irritated? Its a metaphor right?
  13. Ok, first of all that’s a beautiful, CLEAN looking build!... Second, those are excellent photos. They look like box top photos... Nice work John!
  14. Lint looks like a great cat. Thanks for sharing the amazing pic.
  15. The only thing I’m gonna’ say on this is that OP’s Camaro drag car looked pretty darn good ... can’t take that away.
  16. EPIC! ??????? What is (her?) name?
  17. There are lots of people into classic (1:1 drivable) cars. For example someone might own a super cherry “57 Chevy that they payed $50K for, whereas another person has one that was built all the way up and restored by them. I guess it’s the exact same thing as building a model vs. buying a prebuilt model, but I’m inclined to believe that the one who builds it for themselves is the one who has more pride in what they own, even if it’s not as nice as the one that was already built. That being said, prebuilt die-casts rarely look as good as a plastic model built by a talented builder.
  18. I’m guessing it’s because his die cast drag car Camaro WIP got moved to the “die cast” section. He said more than once in that thread that he thought it was stupid that it got moved.
  19. Well it’s definitely my cup of tea. Love this site!! ..... So long
  20. Nice work Bob, especially for a first timer - old timer?... Welcome to the forum!
  21. Awesome... thanks! Couldn’t have imagined it being any easier than that?
  22. Hi everyone. Ive been experimenting with cheap scrap clear plastic lately for making windows and using C/A glue. I’m getting some mild fogging on the “glass” around the immediate area of the glue spot. I want to know if there are any after the fact treatments that can be applied to make the fogging become transparent.
