  1. These cats RULE!... Pure happiness?????
  2. It makes sense to me. Though I’m not into spaceships, It seems fitting that an airbrush company would offer a model that looks like an airbrush in disguise so that you can use your own Iwata to paint all the little details on and then have an interesting piece to talk about, or just to collect.... I think it’s pretty clever.
  3. Hey Bob, I don’t know how to help, but just wanted to say that I’m sorry your place got broken into and robbed.... it’s such an voilating feeling! ...Best wishes to you...
  4. I like the plastic wrap around the bottom of the engine... looks so warehousey. Awesome stuff though, really!
  5. I wasn’t aware of your build on this, but for the PITA that you say it was, it looks like you did a fine job on it. It looks very nice!?
  6. There is also this thread which might help a little...
  7. Abs, that is incredible detail ... Wow!
  8. I know, I’m simply saying that I have no interest... I feel fortunate that I found this one right of the bat and it turns out IMHO that it’s the best one, so I have no need for anything more.?
  9. Well thanks for advertising those other sites .... but I’ll just be stayin’ Right here?

  16. Thanks for highlighting that J6/David... And yes, the Daytona Coupes were the first cars ever to use those air jacks. Here’s where I saw it.... great little video!
  17. It is great!
  18. Yeah, nuts ain’t it?!..... Glad to see you back on the forum Bill.... And thank you?
  19. ......And thank you for this super awesome little story!??.... But please tell me that you two both still own those cars. Even though you never got to have a Cobra, you still got to own one of the greatest legends of all automotive history! ...........For those who love racing..... this is racing! ... A battle of two GT-350’s on Daytona
  20. Aha!... Now we know what that thing on top of its roof is for?
  21. Mark, ^^^^^^ good advice above .... I’m really sorry you’ve got this one to sort out now, and believe me, I feel your pain!
  22. Kingslug- Thank you! Whatever wiring/hoses I decide to do, it will highly likely NOT be ALL of it.... Up to this build, the most I’ve ever done on an engine for wiring has been plug wires, and that was only one other time. Abs- The pics are great ones, thanks for posting them ... Your input is always appreciated? ... I’ll remember to be thinking of you when getting that steering shaft threaded in there? .... I was pretty good at playing Operation when I was little though. Trevor- Thanks for your thoughtful compliments along the way ... And reguarding those air couplings (which I also wonder about), it appears other Daytonas have them rerouted to come up to the hood cowling, such as where this HRM kit has them molded. Also for any who noticed the roughness on the frame here in this pic and may have wondered about it... I just want to make a note that the HRM instructions say to wash all the parts first, which I did not do... Since the roughness is the flash leftover from molding, perhaps washing would take it off... I do not know the answer... Earlier in this WIP I was under the impression that it would need to be sanded in order to get it smooth... maybe I was wrong... Either way, it doesn’t bother me, I’m just mentioning it for those who are going to build this kit.
  23. Wow Abs!.... that car has more wires and tubes than all the others I think, but I’m sure I’ll use it for reference..... thanks much! I’m a bit confused though ... did the carb tray make it slower or something?
  24. Andrew... that engine work is absolutely B E A U T I F U L !
