Wow! I absolutely love it. Looks so good!.... White was a great color choice?

Yeah she’s the best ... I never get tired watching and listening to her play.

Wow Phil, that Stingray is very nice with that gorgeous red paint job, and seeing the three side by side in that same color is stunning!??

One of these days I should probably build one of these, because every time I see one I think they look awesome.... Nice job Justin!

Welcome to the forum ... and hang loose brah!?... I know the secret surfer meaning to the saying and hand symbol, but I can’t explain it here on this forum... All I can say is it’s really intense man!?

Boy Ray, I bet you can build these things in your sleep! ... I like how this one turned out. Great paint and style points?... I could picture this rollin’ under palm trees down some boulevard in Miami.

Bandit blends in perfectly with that beautiful chair! And Ellie May reminds me of my cat Cookie, also a dilute calico and loves belly rubs for hours if possible... but pick her up, and she ain’t having it, and she won’t sit on my lap either. Really nice photos of two gorgeous cats! ... Thanks for sharing?

Cool! ... Just saw this. I like Pink Floyd. I actually think that “The Wall” is the greatest rock masterpiece ever created to date even though it is not my favorite album. “Wish You Were Here” might be my favorite. Two of my favorite songs, however, are “One of These Days” and “Another Brick in the Wall”, and I remember the first time I watched the movie “The Wall” I felt forever changed, and not necessarily in a good way ... it was really deep for me. Anyway, here’s a cool shred that I found some time back.... Her name is Tina S.

I like the results in the sense of it being very durable, sandable and polishable, but as far as spraying it has continued to be challenging for me. I have yet to be able to attain a nice uniform top layer of glossiness and some of the time it’ll turn out very dull and ugly until after I wet sand and polish. This is probably due to the fact that my air compressor is not adjustable for air pressure, so I’m pretty sure my pressure is too low for properly spraying ANY clear coat.... But the fact that it is extremely low toxicity makes it worth it to me even if it is a lot more work. -
My thought about these tiny containers was to use them to compartmentalize really tiny parts and then keep the tiny containers inside a larger one so that they can’t get lost.??

Hey Mark! If I remember correctly, you said you were going to start using only water based paints and trying out a brush on method you learned about.... And I’m assuming this will be the first car for it? One thing I know is if you use the Createx 5620 Clear Coat, it has very good results with wet sanding and polishing, so if you wind up with some subtle visibility of brush strokes it would be interesting to find out if such a process would make them nonexistent. ...I’m wishing you the best on this one? -

Better make it a good one! .....And do a WIP so then you really have an excuse? -
Yes, it does look “better”, but it still just doesn’t seem like a Nova. The back now looks more like a modern Challenger.

That’s nice ...really, really nice!

Yeah it’s funny, you can show someone pics of your model and when they look at it they’re like, “Oh, that’s cool”, but then when you explain how you painted every single thing and show them how tiny everything is, that’s when they are amazed, or maybe they just think we’re insane. BTW John, your detail work so far is exceptional and very clean! ... But I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg. -
I think that one looks real good!.. except front tire clearance looks impossible.

Some of your stuff isn’t really in my tastes, but I can surely appreciate it! ... Reguardless, it’s obvious you have a passion for what you do and I think that’s what this site is really about. You do good work, and if you stick around, maybe some things will change more to your liking. I can understand your frustration, but it may be builders like you who influence changes in categories here. Perhaps an “Alternatve” catagory could be put in place. Best of wishes.?

This is a really cool one Mark... nice work! -
Venom ... Because in the day Shelby’s were killin’ the competition, and the only car I kept from my past model building days was a Revell 427 Cobra ... And in returning to the hobby 10 years later, the car that brought me back was the building of another Revell 427 Cobra. My avitar was something I found online randomly, but I really liked it since my current WIP is a ‘65 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe ... this is significant because the WIP is the first and only in-depth thing I’ve ever done online.

Seeing the real one and the “new” rendering next to each other really shows how styling cues have gone from class to trash...

Looks like I’m in mostly good company...
