  7. Thanks David. Ill pick some up. I had been to every auto parts store near me looking for a similar product that we used to call Nitro-stan, but cant find in. this looks like the same type of stuff
  8. Anyone have any tips on what to use to fill seams, such as after gluing an engine and transmission together, or putting seat backs on seats. Can anyone recommend a product to use as sort of a putty to add then sand to male it look like one piece?
  9. Hello all. I have finally ditched the orange tube glue and bought an assortment of Tamiya glues from a seller on eBay. I received 3 bottles: one extra thin, one extra thin quick setting, and an a bottle with an orange label and cap. So far I have used the orange the most. It seems with the extra thin and especially with the quick setting extra thin, they flash off before I can even get the parts I'm trying to glue near each other. Are there any tips on using these glues?
  10. They both came out great. Really nice paint work.

Sweet. I think you have chosen the perfect color
  12. Thanks for your input Bill. I plan on displaying this model with out the t-tops, so I think I'll fill them. Any suggestions on what to use to fill the seams with?
  13. Quick update. A forum member has the part I need. I am very grateful! Some work being done on the interior After looking at these pics, I realize that I should have sanded the seams where the seat backs attach. I may take it back apart.
  14. Really came out nice. Almost looks like a die cast, the body is so nice
  15. Wow! Amazing work. Really captures the time period!
  16. Thank you Oliver! I was in Cologne earlier this year for my daughters wedding. Wonderful place!
  17. Looking forward to this!
  18. Very nice build This Charger looks fantastic!
  19. I understand your dilemma. That looks sharp with the body color roof
  20. Looking really good! I think the black landau will look good and really tie in the interior. The light gunmetal is a great choice for this car.
  21. Hello All. On the bench this time is the AMT Smokey and The Bandit Trans Am. I'll get some pics up soon. I had all of the spoiler and ground effects on the body, and the front left wheel well ground effect (spoiler or what ever ya call it) popped off and is gone forever. I set sand over a trash bin, I know it landed in there, but no luck in finding it. As to today was trash pick up, I'm certain its gone for good. I'll have to get one from eBay or something. Bummer
  22. Just to close the loop on this, I received my first issue today. Thanks! Chaz
  23. Mike! That really looks great. The paint is beautiful! Real nice work.
