  1. Nice looking beater Mario. That's what they looked like out on the farm.
  2. The two styles Mingle together pretty well. Love the old fat fender cars and the two tone color looks great. Looks like a lot of hp on the business end.
  3. Welcome to the forum Michael.
  4. Haha....yeah one at a time is my norm but I'm currently working on a 29 Roadster, 61 Impala, and the 34 Slammer.
  5. Thanks Steve. Polishing first doesn't seem to bother the adhesion. The BMF has changed as others will confirm. It's just not as good as it use to be.
  6. Nice looking Datona Mario. That iconic rear spoiler looks good through my eyes. Nice one dude.
  7. That is some good looking old school muscle right there. Nice color and those twin turbo's look ready to spool up to smoke those big ol meats in the rear. Nice touch with the detailing in the trunk. Great job man and nice stance.
  8. Boy, that is looking up town Riley. The colors look fitting for the time period.
  9. Yeah that's looking pretty kewl. I like the finish.
  10. What type of clear did you use? Looks more like mist coats to me. I'd clean it off good and give it a couple wet coats of the clear. If it's an emanel of lacquer (don't know about the other clears) you can wet sand and polish and it will look better.
  11. Nice looking. I'm not as knowledgable about older kits as others on here so did you buy the model with the lights installed or did the orignal kit come with the lights installed?
  12. That Hemi just looks so good setting in the business end of that 55 though. It ok to mix and match with old Classic's and Hot Rods. I had a Chevy 302 in my 37 Ford pickup street rod. We use to say "Ford tuff with Chevy stuff" ☺
  13. Good looking Blazer. The body color looks great. Nicely done.
  14. Yeah we've got a looker here. That color combo looks really eye catching. The added rub strips make the bumpers look so much better. Nice job on the build.
  15. Pretty kewl looking Fastback. I like the color and all the mods inside.
  16. That's one slick looking wagon. Nice mods on the top section and that engine bay looks sweet.
  17. Nice save on that one dude. Looks good so far.
  18. Boy that green looks a little rough. Put it in the drink (Purple pond) for a while.
  19. Haven't really decided yet Jim. As good as it came out I may just use some Novus 2 and call it a day. I think I'll give it a week to cure out.
  20. Well Mike....I think it's like my 1:1 49 Chevy pickup, I've never really be done working on it so I guess it's a never ending process. What else have we got to do anyway ☺
  21. Well that looks pretty kewl. I'll have to slip this one to the Jolly ol fat guy in red ☺
  22. Thanks for the info Craig.
  23. Ok....here's my "poor mans' dehydrator ☺☺☺
  24. Isn't that strange. Well....I do know from experience that you can spray Tamiya TS-13 which is a synthetic lacquer over enamel because I've done it by mistake one time but had no reaction.
  25. Dang-it. I find something that seems to work good and now not so good. Well....I always do try and paint the bodies first thing before I start a build so maybe I'm good after all or buy a dehydrator. How much for a cheapo???
