  1. Looking good so far on the build. Paint is always my down fall and I'm still working on it. Like mentioned, strip the paint and give it another go. I've stripped a body 3 times before until I got something I was satisfied with.
  2. Nice work on the mods.
  3. Coming along nicely. I like the body style. My pics are always big no matter if I take them with my phone or my camera. I resize my to 25% before I post them.
  4. Well....I guess I'm working on both of them at this point. I'm going to build the 29 Roadster while I'm still testing the enamel paint through my Paasche H.
  5. Haven't decided on a color yet but can't paint this week anyway. Rain and high humidity. I'll scroll through the Testors enamel paint chart tomorrow and see what colors strikes my fancy. I did some airbrush test on a 1956 Ford body with Testors enamel paint and I like the finish.
  6. Well.....my first time around airbrushing Testors enamel thinned 50/50 With lacquer thinner went great so I think I'll stick with that. like the old saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I think I was a little hisitant about spraying it to thick but next time I'll lay the paint down.
  7. I find it kinda odd that the link Larry gave me shows not one 29 Roadsters with the blower. That's the one I was leaning towards.
  8. Thanks for the links fellows. Plenty of eye candy.
  9. I just came back from 3 Walmart's in my area and as far as models, they had no paint, no supplies, and no models.
  10. Holly crapola. If I can't get some good idea's from those pics then I need to clean my crack pipe. ☺ Thanks for the links Larry.
  11. I pulled this kit out from under the work bench this morning thinking I would build this one next. I'm leaning more towards the Highboy but just not sure yet as I'm still checking things out as far as color, version, wheels and tires, etc. For you fellows that have built this kit let me hear any issues with either the Highboy or Channeled version. Show me what you've built so I can get some idea's and inspiration.
  12. Thank you James.
  13. Thanks for the comment James.
  14. Really nice looking so far. Reminds me of the 59 Buick Invicta (Blue Suede Shoes) that was built by Dave Kindig on Bitchin Rides.
  15. Just some fantastic scratch building. Looking really nice.
  16. That was one crazy looking ride. Looking good.
  17. This should be great to see what everyone comes up with for the Christmas themed rides.
  18. Nice looking Mercedes. That color looks great.
  19. Nice and clean looking model for being 20 years old.
  20. Looking pretty good so far Joseph. I have a 29 under my work bench waiting to be built.
  21. Nice work on the Sedan. Love the old fat fender cars and trucks. I'm following this one.
  22. That little Roadster is looking pretty good so far.
  23. That is one good looking C10. Its kind of screaming Mad Max to me. Nice.
