  1. I like the blue interior against the white. Nice job.
  2. That looks pretty kewl. When I see 1:1 trucks like these they look like Tonka trucks to me.
  3. I got the blower and valve covers glued on this morning and also got my distributor cut, drilled, and wired. A .058" bit is just the right size to drill out the distributor for the 9 wires (30 AWG) needed. Trying to figure out what to do if anything about plug wire boots on top of the valve covers??? Anyone done these before that could chime in?
  4. My models would not be worth entering but I enjoyed looking at all the fine entries. Wonderful looking models fellows and congrates on all the winners.
  5. Nice looking 56 Stock car. I loved the ole circle track and 1/4 mile racing as a kid. Really enjoyed the Pro Stock when it came about in the early 70's. Bob Glidden was the man.
  6. You Lincoln is starting to take shape. NIce work.
  7. Nice Jason. Have any pics of you fine looking 56 on display at your local hobby shop?
  8. Walt, I think your right. There where probably changes on Big John's Willy's as time went on. A frirnd of mine sent me this pic so I'm going with a the red block. Not the same engine as the kit but I like the red. Good luck on the Cannonball ruse. Is there a thread going on this?
  9. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. Thanks Carl. I got the block and blower painted with the new paint I bought. Block was sprayed with Rust-Olem flat black primer then shot with Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red. The blower was painted over the stock chrome with Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf.
  11. Those were Big cars back in the day and very comfy. Nice color looks really nice. Good job.
  12. I like that gray with the tan interior Michelle. Came out great.
  13. I checked the Tamiya putty I used on the hood snap openings on the body this morning and all looks well. The putty seems to be holding good after some initial sanding. Need to do some final sanding to get the hood to seat better but I think it worked out well.
  14. Yeah.....I remember that episode where Herman ran it down the track. Brings back some memories. Nicely done.
  15. Nice looking couple of Superbee's.
  16. Good looking Chevelle. The blue looks nice and your engine bay has nice detail work. Great job.
