  1. Nice looking Sedan. I looked for a 40 coupe for the longest time but couldn't find what I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. Currently have a 49 Chevy pickup Restomod.
  2. I guess I missed this one. Fantastic looking. You know I love the Gassers. Food for thought.....the 1957 Ford out sold the 1957 Chevy back in the day.
  3. Just sprayed my 41 Willy's body with Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red lacquer. I'm thinking of trying the Rust-Oleum Acrylic Lacqer clear gloss over the Tamiya lacquer. I'm not sure if this Rust-Oleum lacquer can be wet sanded or not. I've read pro and cons about sanding lacquer on the ole interweb. Does anyone have any experience with wet sanding the Rust-Oleum Acrylic lacquer clear?
  4. I've been following your build and it's really turning out to be a slick looking little ride.
  5. Work so far is looking nice Dennis. Always loved the 40 & 41 Ford pickups. The stance on yours is looking killer.
  6. Pretty nice looking wagon Steve. The attention to detail is nicely done. Love the transformation from the 4 door to 2 door.
  7. Sharp looking Chevelle . The wheels and tires give it the right stance. NIcely done.
  8. Don't know how I missed this thread. Boy is that some fine machine work Tim. Had a 72 back in the day and the wife hated it. I'll be watching this one.
  9. That looks pretty kewl. That is a wild looking exhaust setup. Nice build.
  10. Nice looking 32. I like the o!d school Hot Rods. I'm diggin the decal on the deck lid.
  11. Great job on the build. Great looking color.
  12. Good looking Buick. That red and white combo looks killer.
  13. I have a rolling chassis. Can't seem to get the front wheels to snap on like the rear did. I thought I had broken it once so I stopped. I may have to cut a portion of the axle off and glue the front wheels on.
  14. I got the body re-painted. With the white basecoat the color came out pretty close to the color on the cap. It has some orange peel but not bad. This time around I sat the can in some warm water as others have suggested. I'll let the body set for a couple days before spraying it will clear. Trying a new clear coat this time around.
  15. Thanks Anton. I do have a spare. It's in my back pocket. It's called AAA ☺
  16. Thanks Dave. Yeah it's going on 11 months now and really enjoying myself. My wife will be retiring in September of 2022 so I don't have much Freedom time left ☺
  17. Your panel truck is looking pretty good there Jason.
  18. Couple of nice looking models right there George. I got a 34 Ford pickup waiting to be built.
  19. I really like this one. Great color. My first car was a 1957 Studebaker.
  20. Still here Mike. Had to take a step back and think about the quality of work I'm doing or maybe not doing. Just not satisfied with what I'm seeing. I did get a little chassis work done. I first primed the body in flat gray as I do all my models but the Tamiya Italian red came out to dark. I re-sprayed the body with a white basecoat hoping the red will turn out a little brighter. Temperature around noon today should be around 75 degrees with the humidity around 50% so conditions are ideal. Paint seems to never turn out right for me so I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst.
  21. Thank's for the info on the 55 box.
  22. Nice looking and a very quick build Scott. I bought this kit as well when HL had their 40% off. What is the issue with the bed?
