  1. Really sharp looking 37. I love the ole fat fender cars/trucks. I had a 1:1 37 Ford truck street rod.
  2. Nicely done. Not something I would build but that's just me. Great job.

    Outlaw Nova

That's a tough looking Nova. Nice.
  4. Nice looking little bug Lee. That paint looks awesome.
  5. Ray, I'm getting close to the trouble area in the build so I'll Check the fit. That's.
  6. I searched everywhere for some wire insulation that would fit over my 30 AWG plug wires and finally I hit pay dirt. It was a pain to strip the green insulation off and fitted on the plug wire but it turned out fine. Both spark plugs left of the coil were short shots from the mold but it looks ok I guess. I left the boots green as it kinda looked kewl. I think I'm done with the engine so I'm moving on.
  7. Pretty good looking 59. I like!e the old stuff.
  8. Hey.....did you pull that out of my back yard by the barn ☺ I hate to see a Tri-five in that condition but really nice work on the weathering.
  9. Really nice looking Studebaker Gassers. Great detail work. I know I couldn't build 3 at once like that because I have trouble with just one in front of me☺
  10. Nice looking project you have going on. As for as the hood warp, maybe you could bend it a little past nominal then wrap some tape around it to hold it there. Next, gentley hit it with the heat gun then remove the tape once it cools. Don't know if that will work or ot but its a quick method to try.
  11. What Jim said. My local HL does not sell the Paasche H. Its a very nice air brush for the money.
  12. Nice looking Camaro. That color looks sharp with the red line tires.
  13. Thanks for the tips and kind words Gerald. I'll definitely keep those tips in mind.
  14. I've used Rustoleum Gray primer, craft paint from Hobby Lobby, and Rustoleum Clear Gloss. I've also used Tamiya TS-13 and Pledge Revive it floor gloss. You can obtain a matt or Simi gloss finish with light coats.
  15. James. Take a look at this video. Maybe it will help. I also use the Passche H single action air brush.
  16. That is really super clean. Shines like a new penny. Great job.
  17. Nice clean little bug. I like how you used a permanent marker for the fender welting.
  18. Nice looking Thunderbird.
  19. Looks pretty kewl Jason.
  20. I found a little time this morning to do some work on the 6 banger. I thought I was going to get it done but I don't have any wire insulator that is the right size for the plug boots. I'll have to make a trip to to see what I can find.
  21. I Know this is an old post but it was before my time on MCM and well worth bringing up again. I have this kit waiting to be built and it's nice to know just what issues I may run into. Plus the fact that this is a killer looking truck and the Tamiya clear orange just pops. Very nice build even with all the issues. Well done.
  22. The ole Gas Monkey Garage. Your COE looks pretty kewl. I use to watch the show but didn't care much for Richard Rawlings. I thought he put together junk and try to sell it for a much to high of a price.
  23. Very well done. The colors looks fantastic on both.
  24. That is just outstanding detail work. The colors all blend well. VERY nicely done.
