  1. The 1949 Talbot Lago T26C is gorgeous. Wouldn’t be able to tell it apart from the real car.?
  2. Thanks Trevor. Pretty sure that texture came from dusting on the semi gloss clear as opposed to flooding it. “big, greasy wing” ?
  3. Much appreciated Tom. That’s why we’re living in the golden age of the hobby. A wealth of information available at our fingertips plus an incredible amount of products available.
  4. Thanks Rich. I’m a big fan of the gold rims, too. The compressor regulator is set to 18 psi, assuming it’s anywhere near accurate. I have been using MCLT at a 1:1 ratio with Tamiya’s lacquer paint. I’m going to try dropping the psi down to 12-15. I know AK Interactive’s Xtreme Metal paints go on beautifully in this range. I have no issue with smaller parts or rounded surfaces - it’s always the larger, flatter surfaces like the hood and roof. Fingers crossed.
  5. Looks like you have your bases covered.? I built a Tamiya kit 30+ years ago, the one with the battery powered motor (and only survivor from my youth). The motor still works and the doors seem to fit better than the Aoshima kit. I would definitely build another Countach - might be worth while looking into one of the Enthusiast kits.?
  6. Excellent quality. Thanks for sharing.
  7. 1970 Corvette Coupe… nothing fancy, 350 300 HP 3.08 differential. Owned it for 8 years now.
  8. Every time I’m about to post a comment I scroll down to find more of your builds. ? They are all very nice, my favs are the Chevelle and Belvedere. ?
  9. Looks really nice. Love that interior. ?
  10. Thanks Harry! Cheers Sorry Spike, I'm an idiot. It's not a Fujimi, it's an Aoshima kit: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/aoshima-059456-lamborghini-countach-5000qv--1291940
  11. I agree 100% beeRS... I had one on my bedroom wall. I was torn between black/gold and red/gold - thinking I might build a second one. Yes, it is an Aoshima kit.
  12. Truly inspiring work. ?
  13. I really like the black on black colour scheme you chose. ? When I saw your photos I was thinking that’s something I’d like to build. Then I read your build notes and now I’m thinking… not so much.
  14. Thanks Mathias. It’s the Fujimi kit, though I don’t see the box art on Scalemates. This is the kit I have: https://hobbysense.ca/products/1-24-lamborghini-countach-5000qv-85
  15. Nicely done. :^)
  16. You can see how talented someone is when all their work is gathered in one place. ?
  17. A nice set of beauties there.
  18. Excellent build quality. Nice year you've had.
  19. Fortunately most of it is hidden under the body shell. As I’ve mentioned in posts in the past, this style of lighting/photography is very forgiving when it comes to finish (errors). :^))
  20. That Town & Country ?!
  21. Beautiful looking car. And that engine?! Oh how I miss the 80’s.
  22. Great looking car and paint choice. Nice job with the vinyl roof.
  23. Beautiful land yachts. ?
  24. Lots of hardware. Congrats.
