That turned out very nice. I can totally see her hopping and dancing. ?

Gorgeous colour on sweet car. Oh yeah, that paint IS a dust magnet. Problem did go away after clear coating with Alclad’s Aqua Gloss.

Pretty sweet. Nice craftsmanship.

Nicely done. The undercarriage is amazing!

Beautiful colour scheme. ?

The kit came with 2 sets of leaf spring/axel combos - one for regular ride height and one for lowered. I did use the lowered set but it still wasn’t enough in the end. :^(

Beautifully done! ? -
They should put your build on the next box art release. :^)

Turned out nice. I’m with you on the hard top. ?

Ha, someone else remembers that movie. :^) Marion Cobretti

Can it be built any better? I don’t think so. Great job from engine to paint.?

Thanks for the kind comments folks. I didn’t put too much detail into this one… it was really about the paint and wheel combo. If you ever need a black primer, this one goes on super-smooth.

That looks great. Very realistic.

Ever have one of those builds where you're kinda tired of the kit or maybe it's not looking how you wanted? This was one for me. Finally pushed this one over the finish line and got it photographed today. Primed (painted) with Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500. I liked the beautiful, even coverage when I had primed a car in the past and thought it might look cool as a finished paint job - jury is out on this one. Interior is Tamiya LP-5 Semi Gloss Black with AK Interactive Matte Aluminum. Wheels are Spiked Evil from Jay's Wheels, also painted Matte Aluminum. What I Learned from this Build 1. First time I made any significant modifications (at least for me) to a car body. I removed the side mouldings, door handles, side window pillars and badges. My hats off to guys and galls who achieve super-smooth results. There is a real art to sanding and priming, and sanding and priming... Also drilled a couple holes to add taillights from the spare parts box. After photographing the car, the exhaust tip looks kinda funny. 2. Mockups don't always resemble the final result. The front ride height is about where I planned, the rear was supposed to be about even with the front. On top of that, I probably should have moved the wheels inward to allow more space from the fenders. No way this driver will ever be able to steer the car. ? 3. Highly recommend an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning the airbrush. Just used warm water and it cleaned up beautifully. ? That's it for now. Cheers

I like the colour scheme you went with. Don’t know about in-person but it looks nice in the photos.

One would never know you encountered those problems with your build. Turned out great and the paint choice is perfect. Photos are very nice, too. Curious, can clear parts plastic be bent with heat or is it too brittle? Wondering if that might have helped with the windshield.
-
That’s a lot of horses! Nicely done.

Well, that looks like a 1:1 car to me. ? Curious, did you use the kit decals for the headlight wells or paint them?
