  1. Looks great. ?
  2. Oh yeah, very familiar with that one.? Pretty sure the Countach is on every top 10 iconic car list.
  3. Gorgeous car.?
  4. The stance is perfect. Wheel and body combo look great together. Trying to picture who could have driven a ride like this back in the ‘30’s. :^)
  5. Thought I was looking at the actual car. Very nice work!
  6. That is quite stunning. Very well done sir.?
  7. Very sharp 2-tone paint. Entire build looks awesome.
  8. Just got lost again browsing through your Scalemates gallery. Such a consistent high level of quality.?
  9. Thanks Ryan. The windshield pillars are thin (Aoshima includes a dummy windshield you tape in place to protect them), the 4 fender flares require a little attention to make sure they line up nicely, the door fit seems to be off a little on some kits, the glass isn’t perfectly clear and can’t be polished out and fitting the body to the chassis is… fun. Other than that it’s a breeze. ?
  10. That’s interesting. I bought the Italeri kit 3 years ago for my son to build… I will have a look at the tires. I checked the link to your build and realized I had bookmarked it previously :^) Your Countach looks fantastic, flawless really. Better interior detail than the Aoshima kit and the doors fit perfectly. ?
  11. That is a great looking car!
  12. ? At least you got to spend some quality time with it. ?
  13. Nicely done and fun trip down memory lane I’m sure. ?
  14. Superb.?
  15. So well done! Was watching a couple build videos on that kit… some challenging aspects for sure.
  16. That van! ? Thanks for sharing your year at the bench.
  17. Well you certainly hit the nail on the head when you said “up to the challenge.” Found this post today: Fujimi Enthusiast kits look to be a magnum opus build. Might need a pallet cleanser or two before tackling something like this. ?
  18. Thanks Tommy, it had to be black/gold. If I build another one I’d probably go with red/gold. You’re a braver man than I… from what I’ve read the Fujimi Enthusiast kit takes some real patience to assemble. I had to (chose to) hack up the interior in order for the body to slip over the chassis. Pretty sure I didn’t do anything wrong during assembly as this fellow encountered similar problems with his kit. The photos and forum post almost take as much time as building the kit. :^o Always looking for the very best angles to accentuate the car and trying not to sound like a total moron when I’m typing (as I’m sure my English teachers did).
  19. Thanks Kurt. Those Fujimi Enthusiast kits look very tempting, but not for the faint of heart me thinks. Had 2 posters myself ?.
  20. You had a 454!! That must have been fun to drive. Wish I could have afforded one when I was shopping for mine.
  21. High level of finish on display there. ? I recall seeing a few of them throughout the year. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Like ‘em all, especially the Satellite.?
  23. Nice year at the bench. I recall seeing most of those posted over the past year. ?
  24. Wow, that is a sweet collection of builds. I recall many of those posted over this past year. ?
  25. Been enjoying your builds on Instagram. ‘Bout time you were on here. ?
