I have yet to see any details beyond the two surfboards and new roof rack, but my guess would be the same, solid direstone whitewalls the kit has previously included. Maybe somebody who has the previous "Superwagon" can let us know which tires were included last time.

Possibilities: 1) What Mark mentioned above is what they'll reissue 2) MPC Vega F/C kit in AMT packaging (seems unlikely to me, but...) 3) All new replacement body for the now-missing Vega/Astre kit's body. Maybe Round2 had a replacement Vega body shell 3D printed to use as a master? 4) ??? I guess I am still leaning toward #1, and hoping Round2 was able to dig out the vintage F/C molds/inserts, and if a Gremlin version is possible as a second kit, even better. I don't see a ton of money making potential in a new Vega body paired with the existing longer/correct wheelbase chassis, but if Revell's F/C molds went to Atlantis, then I could see it making some business sense for Round2. #2 doesn't seem to be consistent with what Round2 has done in the past with AMT and MPC kits, though.

Some good info in this topic...: I think the original 1/25 Revell S-W-C '41 Willys is the closest match, so if you can find a pair of those which haven't been used (i.e., come in contact with the tires), I think you'd be all set.

I'm not so sure these would be any more well received now than when they were new. The subject matter alone is obscure, and the styling still very polarizing. Maybe a very limited run of each (2,500?) would make it feasible for Atlantis, but even for specialty hobby retailers, these would be a very tough sell IMHO.

Just for kicks, here's the sell sheet for the last reissue from Round2, in 2010:
-
That seems likely (again, IF Round2 is reissuing the early Vega F/C) since both share the same chassis an tinwork: AMT Vega F/C: AMT Gremlin F/C:

The ramps have been there from the start, so not sure they would need to be replaced to include the two surfboards, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. I wouldn't mind seeing the funky rooftop cargo carrier eliminated, though:

From what I recall the (originally Lindberg) '53 Ford Victoria is a quality kit, but it doesn't exactly excite the masses. Coming later this year:

AMT 1164 -- new AMT labeling, same ol' IMC kit:

Finally, an appropriate modified reissue for this kit: AMT-1147 1/25 Ford C600 Stake Bed Truck w/Coca-Cola Machines

Yes, it was much closer to an Altered in wheelbase, but I doubt AMT was concerned with NHRA/AHRA rules when creating this kit. They simply used the same chassis under both Vega Panel and AMC Gremlin bodies, added flashy decals, and called it good.
