  1. Not sure yet, but I would guess the version which shares the generic chassis with the semi-recently reissued Trojan Horse Mustang II F/C, discussed here:
  2. I'm pretty confident that is the case, and as was typical of MPC kits from that era, the suspension is simplified. Here's the MPC '75 Caprice's instruction sheet: Hard to believe it's been almost a decade since this kit was last reissued. I wouldn't be surprised to see Round2 reissue it again within the next two year or so.
  3. It looks like Firestone Floatation tires were previously included: Which was the last issue of the Autocar Dump Truck to include them?
  4. I'm sure all ten are identical.
  5. Here's a brief preview of the forthcoming 1/25 AMT Peterbilt wrecker, kit #1133: http://www.collectormodel.com/round2-models/4837-coming-off-the-shelf-its-gonna-be-a-big-rig-summer/?fbclid=IwAR3_9siETrkKBdq1pSzGPCeT4UzbtmB34h3ExptHvO6UsN7Uz6REkmDC4YY#sthash.Ixurapxs.zAcZVCZ4.dpbs Round2 created all-new, pad printed Firestone 10.00-20 Transport 110 tires, which are included with this release, and I'm guessing will be what are included inside the "Big Rig Truck Tire Parts Pack", AMT PP-23?:

  7. AMT: '64 Mercury Comet Caliente...gotta be coming soon: MPC: Revell:
  8. Not to be pedantic, but as Mark mentioned, the 1/24 Revell '70 Plymouth Road Runner kit is probably where you want to start. When the 1/24 Monogram '70 GTX kit was updated modified and became the Road Runner, an all-new interior was created, with separate door panels and the bench seat you are already aware of, so it was a nice upgrade over the tub-style interior found in the GTX kit. My gut tells me the 1/24 Revell Road Runner parts will be too tall and long, but maybe you can hide that by trimming and the edges? Not sure if the upholstery pattern will match what you need, either, so here's a close-up look at the parts from a stalled project:
  9. It's a Cadillac part, and I'm pretty sure there is one kit which includes that style of air cleaner.
  10. IIRC the supplied grey tubing is supposed to represent braided lines...on the cheap. Replace it with scale braided line from Detail Master, like so:
  11. To be clear, the below exhaust system is sourced from the Revell Special Edition 1/25 '69 Chevy Nova SS kit: And before anyone asks, the Revell 1/25 '68 Pontiac Firebird exhaust system in place on the Revell 1/25 '69 Camaro's floorpan:
  12. I recall only one or two shifter levers in kits with the embossed "HURST" wording, and if it doesn't have that wording, well, it isn't a Hurst stick, so i wouldn't help you much. The two I'm thinking of would be too short for use in a pickup with a raised bench type seat anyway, hence my suggestion of the Detail Master levers.
  13. The abbreviation for "1960" should be '60, not 60', which would mean 60 feet. Here's one on eBay, which should give you an idea of what the AMT tail lights look like: https://www.ebay.com/itm/AMT-SMP-1960-Pontiac-Bonneville-Convertible-66660-BUILTUP/173947908362?hash=item28801a710a:g:Bt0AAOSwgihdFqmh
  14. Negative, but...:
  15. No, they are included, not pre-applied. Unappealing decals have been a thing since the first annual kits in '58, and nobody is required nor forced to use them.
  16. If you know the differences, they are easily discerned from one another, but 99.9946% of consumers will neither notice nor care. I'm guessing when this kit was first designed, with all future variants in mind, the rearend was a known inaccuracy, but one the Revell team was willing to live with. If they chose the 8.75" rear over the 9.75" (Dana 60) people would've complained when the first two kits (2'n1 Hemi Cuda and S&M Cuda) were released, and I doubt including both from the start was in the cards. While watching Chris' video, however, it seems the rearend piece is in a very odd location:
  17. Before Adobe Photoshop...
  18. AMT PP022 - Firestone Drag 500 Tires:
  19. Box art = ? Box contents = ? As Mark mentioned, most people who buy this kit will have no idea what awaits them inside the box, and those who do know to avoid it and seek out one of the Revell kits.
