  4. I know people like cheap things, so...
  5. Every chemical which strips paint is going to be harmful if inhaled, ingested, etc. One look at the MSDS saftey sheet for any of these products makes that very clear, so it's pretty much a case of try them and find whichever products works best for you. Nobody can say one chemical works best for every situation, as the plastic, paint, primer, conditions, etc. all can vary wildly from one person to the next. All people can do is post their experience, state which paint, primer, etc. was used, which specific chemical was used to strip, and how well it did or didn't work.
  6. Looks like this one's been cancelled.
  7. AMT 1132 Double Header!! Trailmobile Exterior Post Van Trailer kit:
  8. Is this the first time Round2 has included metal screws for the old promo-style chassis plate mounting?
  9. Here's a bottom-of-the-box plan view of the parts in silhouette:
  10. Keeping things in 1/24 scale, any one of the 1/24 Monogram '32 Ford Roadster, '29 Ford Pickup, '36 Ford, or '40 Ford Pickup would be make good donors for traditional '60s style suspension parts.
  11. Meanwhile, in the Model Trucks: Truck Kit News & Reviews section...
  12. Has anyone ever offered photoetched wedges to be used with the spoke style wheels? Not sure what size nuts were typically used to secure the wedges to the spiders (3/4", maybe?), but I think those could be handled with miniature nuts from Scale Hardware.
  13. Indeed. I picked up an old radio, disassembled it, and found plenty of useable bits inside, like this .011" thick copper wire and this .027" thick fabric wrapped braided copper wire, which seems just about right for vintage spark plugs and wires. The fabric wrapped wire was used to slide the frequency pointer inside the radio. ?

  15. The AMT '71 Duster "Pro Street" kit in the above-linked topics offers the closest thing to true Mopar Performance LA-series small block Mopar valve covers. but they don't have the "Mopar Performance" (nor "Direct Connection" if you want to go a bit older) raised lettering. The MPC Dodge Daytona (the '80s FWD Daytona) kit includes an optional V-8 engine and MOROSO valve covers, but not sure if they are decent or not:

  18. Both the 1/12 Monogram '57 Chevy and '69 Camaro kits contain tunnel ram intakes, though both are designed to fit SBCs. The '57s tunnel ram is not as nice/realistic as the Camaro part(s), though, IMHO.
  19. This one was parts of the Model Builders Club of America, which I think was different than the Revell run program, but a similar idea:
  20. A Thank you to Don Sikora II for finding the wheel backs from this kit and sharing that info. Also pickup up this one, mostly out of curiosity, and general oddness of IMC kits:
