  1. Yes, it's possible. Might be a good idea to move the truck-specific discussion to the Model Trucks section, too. New images of future releases:
  2. I think the tires from the most recent reissue were mentioned in the review topic, and there might've been additional discussion regarding the tires, too:
  3. How does the "heated body" work? What is used to heat the dump body, which, I'm assuming, is meant to prevent the load from sticking to the body below a certain temperature?
  4. Let's not forget the '80s version, with updated monochromatic paint scheme, louvered(!) full disc wheel covers, and new rectangular headlights and matching hood side panel blisters. I suspect this is why the entire hood piece had to be re-tooled: Also available with two other Revell "street rods" in a 3-car combo kit:
  5. ...why people can't refrain from telling the world how they feel, instead of discussing the topic at hand? If you have nothing of value to add regarding the vintage vehicles pictured, fine, but at least have the restraint to not ruin the topic for those who do have something meaningful and on-topic to contribute.
  6. Same basic kit, sans trailer, with new box art:
  7. AMT-PP26 1/25 Monster Truck Tire Parts Pack
  8. Once the rocker panels (or even one) are (is) gone, you lose a lot of structural integrity. BTDT with previous lifelong WI vehicles which had too much rust to be worth the time and effort to fix. Unless it's rare, or something you just can't live without, move on. It stinks at first, but you get over it. A good set of winter tires will make any FWD vehicle handle IL winters without much of any trouble, but winter tires and AWD are even better IMHO. You should have your choice of multiple good used AWD vehicles in the Chicago area to chose from.
  9. Can you post a pic of the part in question? My IMC kit has no part numbers anywhere, so maybe I could help if I saw the part.
  10. http://www.collectormodel.com/round2-models/4691-coming-off-the-shelf-a-double-header-spring/#sthash.ML8x9k1h.dpbs
  11. Looking up other kit numbers for various issues of the Revell '69 Charger Daytona kit (unless you need the specific instructions for the p/e pieces?), you'll find one kit which is 85-4910. Plug those last four digits in as described above.
  12. June 2019 or so.
  13. I hope the surfboard will be included, but I don't think there ever was a rack, just that funky roof top mounted cargo carrier: I would expect it to be the same one they're including with the Cameo and '53 Ford pickups.
  14. I believe the semi-soft Goodyear GT Radials were included with that kit, as well as many of Revell other 1/16 scale kits of that era- snap Camaro Z/28, Firebird, Porsche 928, etc. IIRC, they were included as front floatation tires in some of Revell's tractor (as in tractor-trailer) kits, too more recently. The only downfall is the material they used to mold the tires was prone to dry rotting, so finding a good set isn't easy. Keep scouring ebay, though...
  15. I acquired a few more wheels in a lot, so if anyone knows for sure which kit(s) these are from, let us know, please. #1 -- .715" diameter, have 65 cast into the backside of the disc area: #2 -- .617" diameter. I think these are from early AMT '32 (and maybe '40, Assembly and Disassembly style kits?) Ford kits, based upon the snap-like interference fit on the black plastic wheels they were paired up with: #3 -- MPC Gapp & Roush Pro Stock Pinto Flys?: #4 -- No idea if these are a matching set or not, but both have Monogram like yellow plastic underneath the chrome plating. The wheel half with the open hub bore has three indexing slots, aligning with three of the spokes, and the other wheel half has one indexing pin, aligning with one spoke...meaning if you assemble both halves, the spokes all line up, instead of being 30 degrees apart: #5 -- Oddball spoked wheels/wheel covers. Small one measures .570" (so about 13" in 1/25...AMT '60s compacts?), large one measures .747" in diameter:
