Looks like the AMT (originally an MPC kit, now repackaged under the AMT label) '69 Yenko Camaro kit is out, and while the long box sides call out some appealing features and parts, I wouldn't recommend this when the Revell 1/25 '69 Camaro kits are vastly superior:

It's available now, and it looks like a straight reissue from the previous "Streetburner" issue, with the 21"(?) 100-spoke(?) wheels and super lo-pro tires as the second option. Looks like two different colored stock stripes, as well as a third decal option, a set of non-stock hood and trunk skunk stripes: Previous reissue:

Was there ever a distinct hardtop interior tub, or was the convertible interior the only option for both the AMT '63 Chevy Impala hardtop and convertible kits? -
1/24 Monogram '30 Ford Model A 5-window Coupe

It would be neat to see a six-person group build, with each participant choosing one of the versions pictured on the original issue's box top, though finding a good decal sheet would be a challenge: Some (some a little blurry) pics grabbed from an eBay listing showing the original issue kit's contents: And a later, stock only issue...looks like early '70s? -
To make a Sport Coupe, I'd suggest you start with the Yenko 427 kit which includes the standard grille (with no nameplate/emblem) and the base interior, IIRC. The small block can come from any number of Revell or AMT kits, but the console will be more challenging to find. If you're going with an RS, the Revell RS/Z/28 kit has the SBC and correct grille, too. I can't recall if the upholstery pattern is different from that in the Yenko 427 kit or not, though. I'd suggest buying the Revell '69 Nova SS kit for the SBC parts (especially the stock exhaust manifolds) and the dual exhaust system with crossover rear muffler, like so:

Same person/company: -
Yes, that's the one, and just happened to have the kit/pic handy at that time. What was interesting to me regarding the three color Atlantis image I posted were the three separate sprues, one for each color. I had never seen the different colored parts laid out on top of the mold half, and it makes things much clearer how both opaque and transparent parts can be part of the same mold base, as well as different colored opaque parts.

True. I think the Monogram Fire Iron had similar, but narrower, spindle-mount style front wheels, too. I didn't realize the main body of Sonny & Cher version of the '66 Mustang used separate bodyside inserts, but that custom side cove is not an insignificant thing:

There they are: Looks like the Sonny & Cher version is where the cross-lace (Appliance?) wheels originated, then later migrated over to the Iron Horse Mustang kit along with some other parts. Looking at the original instruction sheet, the 5-spoke wheels were some model of Rader wheel: Yes, you're right, they are probably designed after the same Rader wheel.
-
The optional 5-spoke wheels in the original issue always looked too modern to me, but after seeing this vintage AMT pic on the Scale Survivors facebook page, they are entirely age appropriate: Have these same 5-spoke wheel ever appeared in another AMT kit? Were they only included in the original issue of the '66 Hardtop/Convertible kit?
