Lotus esprit with engine?
Casey replied to gbdolfans's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
No they're not. Front bumper cover, chin spoiler, wheels, fender flares...all differences between the two versions Monogram offered. -
Dave, I think you are referencing the image of the Chevelle Drag Team, correct? This one?: I do see the two slots in the cowl area for the hood hinges you mentioned, and the Craftsman instruction sheet, so sorry, I should've been clearer which image I was talking about. Here is the post I mentioned earlier, in which Mark mentioned something was off:

Are you asking about the last pic, in the post directly above yours? They are all eBay images, and the last image above with the tail light lenses resting on top of the trunk is from the same listing as some of the earlier images I posted-- same hexagonal able cover or whatever that is. I honestly can't tell if the tail lights are part of the body from the angle the picture was taken, but it looks like the tab at the rear of the hood (for use with the metal clip) is present? I wouldn't bet money on that though, and is could just be flash from the gate. The firewall and clear custom tube grille are both present, and...well, there appear to many of the unique parts present which "should" be present. Honestly, I just posted it to show a good, clear image of the tail light lenses, period. I'm still digging through old posts before I say anything more.

After posting I did find this image of the Chevelle Drag Team, though I want to say that last time I posted the same image you noticed a few things were missing, so I didn't want to imply the image showed both kits, complete. At any rate, here it (they) is (are) again: A clear shot of the transparent red tail light pieces from an original issue #6723 kit:

Yes, they definitely were molded as one with the body shell for the Prestige series reissue. That's interesting. I recall previous discussion regarding the simplification/elimination of the clear parts here on the forum, but didn't remember reading about tail lights being molded in, too. So, if I understand correctly, there was the original issue, #6723 in 1963, then the kit wasn't reissued until the 1988 Prestige series kit? Here are some content pics from an eBay listing of the original issue #6723 kit: And one of the parts from the Prestige series reissue, showing the custom grille inserts and hand tools which were included, but not plated:

Kit source for 1/25 70-71 GTO Judge spoiler?

Another possible option is AMT's T 379 Pontiac Ventura Sprint II kit: -
Yes, that was the only way they came in '69. A few large pics, showing a Sport Coupe with the standard 307 c.i. V-8 engine (mislabeled as an SS at bottom of picture): While not to be taken as 100% accurate in all details, here is the '69 brochure: https://www.myclassicgarage.com/knowledge-base/1969-Chevrolet-Camaro Note that both 327 and 307 fender engine displacement callout emblems are shown, but I don't recall is the change was mid-year or the shots are just pre-production cars with the "old" 327 emblems. Either way, you should be able to piece together what you need after soaking up enough info.

Has it ever been positively determined (perhaps that's not possible, though) why the separate, red transparent tail lights disappeared from the AMT '63 Impala SS kit, and were molded into the body? An AMT Craftsman series model showing the separate (though installed) tail lights:

Not sure if this is what you meant by "current", but I'm 99.9% sure the 5-spoke aftermarket wheels which will be included in this kit are not the same wheels Round2 has included in mutliple kits over the last few years. The wheels included in the '69 Yenko kit were created back when AMT was still under RC2's control, and are grouped with the pther chrome plated parts:

It appears nearly everything is directly carried over from the AMT Fast and the Furious issue, other than the pad printed tired and possibly the decal sheet:
