  1. I honestly don't think anyone here bought one.
  2. Actually, I screwed up, but I have a better suggestion. If you shop at Hobby Lobby, they have 'em:
  3. I would love to see the Terra 'cab' piece, too, if that's on your to-do list, Dave. I think that would be a great offering for when Round2 issues the regular Scout.
  4. Am I seeing this correctly? Maybe this kit had something (paint? glue?) smeared lengthwise along the inside of the rear quarter panel, but it looks like this body shell is unpainted, so *gulp* is this what the actual body looks like on the inside of the quarter panel(s)?
  5. Found a few images of the Westcraft boat. I don't think these were taken from the boat topic in Model Cars: Kit News & Reviews, but they might've been:
  6. Are we at the point where $30 U.S. is a "premium price", now? Well, you aren't obligated to buy only the original issue. If it's crisp, mostly intact beltline trim you're looking for, other issues can suffice, such as this Lesney era ('80 or so) issue: Nobody's getting $90 U.S. for a Lesney era '39/'40 Ford Sedan, and a lightly started kit liek the above example shouldn't be more than $15.00 U.S., which is reasonable, and a good value for a crisp body, IMHO.
  7. The little dimples around the circumference of the smaller, tapered inner center cap? I think it's the same wheel, but the custom '40 Ford image isn't the greatest. Someone has to have one of these wheels lying around, right?
  8. No, it doesn't. See here:
  9. Hmmm, Ft. Wayne is only an hour or so from Round2's/Autoworld Store's location...maybe someone is dumping the slow selling inventory through Ollies...
  10. Huh. Interesting that those two were at Ollie's already. The Corvette kit was released in 2016. Slow sellers for sure.
  11. See below. I've seen a few of the Lesney era issues for very fair prices, too. The contrast in crispness between the original and current bodies in Craig's pics is obvious to my eyes. I'd seek out an older kit if I was going to build it.
  12. Maybe it's based on a diecast body, and those three holes are for mounting some type of exhaust header? The orange car pictured above, Jim Ewing's Super Bell coupe, was the first thing which came to mind when I saw the very tapered nose, but the main body section looks a lot like the Pierson Brothers' coupe: Either way, you can't go wrong with scallops and Moon discs on a Bonneville car.
  13. I can't seem to find the picture I saved from long ago, and can't currently find any images of the body shell from the side, so hopefully someone has thus kit in their stash and is willing to take a side-view picture or two for you, Chris.
  14. I'm 99.999% sure he didn't draw the Revell '55 box art-- that was Lloyd Jones IIRC. According to the story over at www.tomdaniel.com it seems to be on target: http://tomdaniel.com/85_kits/frm_85kits.html
  15. I just happened to catch this on eBay last night, so if you're lucky it's still available.
  16. Welp, Atlantis appears to have acquired the molds for the Revell H-138 H-16 Twin Rotor Helicopter: 1:144 Apollo Saturn Rocket: And these:
  17. Looks great in red with the raw cast-look Lemans wheels.
  18. Love it. Thought you had started back up on the other one you began a few years ago, but now we know you have multiples.
