It's possible, but I got the feeling the more obscure (well, I guess if we're being fair that adjective would apply to the bulk of both Lindberg and Pyro's back catalog) Pyro and Lindberg stuff went to Atlantis, not necessarily everything. The Serpent version was last reissued in 2Q 2017, so it probably does fit within that acquisition window, though. I guess we will see what happens in the future from both companies.

Revell 1/24th scale Jaguar E-Type FHC: Test Shots

Might be time for the folks at Round2 to find those sno-skeeter specific parts and reissue this one. ?
-
I was going to suggest waiting until some sellers parts out the kit, but who are we kidding. The desperate few will pay 2/3+ the price of the full kit to get that dune buggy, and since most people have had their fill of the Bronco at this point, there will be a glut of half-cab Broncos available, and few to no dune buggies.
-
Revell doesn't seem to have a problem producing enough kits lately (see, Cadillac Lowrider), so sit tight and be patient. Getting their "announced" kits to the retail level seems to be their biggest hurdle, but eventually, they arrive (see Chevy Custom Van). The Bronco/Sandman Buggy should be all over eBay and the usual online retailers once the kits reach the retail level.

How does that particular engine option look when it's sourced from the new* Cutlass kit(s)?

Ah, good catch. Forgot about that one. Maybe interest in that...thing...was tepid at best.

I won't be a pawn to Big Hobby! ? I don't mind paying a few dollars more and ordering directly from Atlantis. ?

Could be. Single or dual rear wheels? Not sure which would be easier or more logical to release, but the dual rear wheels (and matching rearend?) appear to be on their way, so either seems possible. A vintage tow truck bed(?) would be most welcome, though.

They've been produced in resin a few times, by at least two people/companies, so not wanting to take this topic off-topic, try here:

The Holy Grail 1/16th scale Maverick
Casey replied to ratnasty's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Unfortunately Chuck/ratnasty passed away a few years ago, and I don't think he made any progress on his kit's body. I wonder what happened to the body I sold on eBay a decade plus ago. ?♂️ Pretty sure the buyer was in IL. And yes, the gold and dark green are the colors those pieces were molded in, straight from Fujimi. White pieces are sections of a 1/16 Revell Vega F/c and sheet styrene I patched in. Other than the Plastic Fantastic Maverick F/C and another yellow one, I don't recall the body being very popular at all in 1:1. -

I thought I was paying attention, but maybe not hard enough. ?♂️ ? I do recall the image Jim White posted, but he seemed to go out of his way to reiterate these were concepts and ideas, and in no way were to be taken as official in any way, shape or form, so I didn't. At any rate, I am glad to see this coming out.

It makes a lot of sense for Round2 to reissue this, as both the stand alone dragster and dragster and street car Piranha kits were reissued not all that long ago (and don't appear to have sold all that well). Plus, with a die-cut display base and a sticker included, that aligns perfectly with Round2's recent history:
