  1. Fantastic color choices and finish. I am so jealous!
  2. Sweet build! The only thing is the car looks 1:25th scale, and the wings look like 1:18
  3. Looking great. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
  4. Welcome Ethan!
  5. Just beautiful, and I love that deep lustrous paint!
  6. Miniature awesomeness!
  7. Total stunner Gene! I'll give you $20 for it.
  8. Looks 1:1. Beautiful!
  9. Love 'em both for different reasons. The color combo of blue and red work great, and the tons of custom touches on the racer are beautifully subtle. Thanks for posting!
  10. Welcome to the forum Chad! Any what a way to start off showing your skills - your painting skills are off the chart! Thanks for posting.
  11. Sweet build!
  12. Love the colors, but special kudos on the wood panels!
  13. Fantastic! And the last photo is definitely the "money shot". It shows off the paint perfectly. The interior is great too, and the carpet is particularly impressive. How did you do that?
  14. Both are sweet! Oddball question, but how did you get the tranny and the seats to get that perfect gray patina? I've never been able to get that look down on my builds.
  15. David, it's obvious you've got many weeks of fabrication into this build, and it came out GREAT. The interior lighting was a stroke of genius! And besides that, what a wonderful blast from the past. Thank you for posting.
  16. Beautifully done Bob! Some day I'm going to get the guts to pull out my brand new airbrush still sitting in the box and try my hand at it
  17. The midnight blue with the arctic white interior and gold rims are just a perfect combo. Well done, and thank you for posting!
  18. Great tire/rim combo and stance on a beautiful build, and the Tamiya Gun Metal works perfect on that body design. Thanks for posting!
  19. Just fantastic Claude! A total "10" for imagination and execution - particularly the faux wood pattern. Thank you for posting and making my day
  20. Looks awesome, and I love the C1 colors!
  21. Beautiful build Mario, and great color choices - the black and white with all that chrome looks so formal on this style car. But, above all - I love the way you photograph your models. You've even got the shadows down pat! Thanks for posting.
  22. I suspect you're right Jason. Fiberglass manufacturing industry was still working the kinks out back then.
  23. I couldn't agree more Jürgen - - - I love the oddball vehicles, especially ones you can't find ready-made as a diecast. This one is most interesting because it was a real car that AMT the model-making company actually offered to the public. It was in essence a kit car based on Corvair mechanicals, and a number of them have survived to today - including the "Spy Car" itself.
  24. Phenomenal build. I particularly love the slight pink and metallic hue to the "Ferrari red" - which as we all know has a hundred variations. This one is closer to the hue we used to see in the 80's, and I love it!
  25. Conrad, great job on the build for this very interesting car. I cannot believe anyone is able to work in such small scale - my mitts barely hold 1:24 parts, and I can't even see them without a magnifier! I've been having good success with 1mm tip Molotow liquid chrome for lettering, in case you haven't tried it yet. As for the windshield, here's a little cheat I've done now and again: I have been known to put a little strip of striping decal or window tint at the top of the windshield to cover up glue damage - or as in this case - to cover up some unsightly grooves in the windshield meant to hold the gullwing door hinges. In any event, great job, and thank you for posting!
