  1. Nice memory, from a time when we had some respect for telecom companies, LOL!
  2. Wow, so creative yet so neatly done! Love the photo through the windshield, the glass is clear enough to read the clipboard, and nice attempt at the engine fuel lines too, never thought of doing that before!
  3. Looks nice in that colour! Love the whitewalls too, the finishing touch!
  4. Nice job! Love the colour choice and detailing! I’m working on the same concept right now (base step side, ready for the colour coat) and appreciate the inspiration, paintwork is always the challenge for me, but yours came out great!
  5. Wow, that looks great! Very solidly built with that double skin, too, unlike the full size Winnies, LOL! You do such neat work, precision cutting and assembly too
  6. Thanks a lot! I took a photo of it next to its big brother at our last club meeting. I plan to try one again with the Moebius pickups, will have to have the vintage look, though, they were aluminum-skinned back then IIRC
  7. Neat project! Love the vintage rear body style!
  8. Yes, there it is, to which I'd add, "in all it's glory!" Great job, it really pops in those colours! Looks authentic, too!
  9. Nice scratch building, looks authentic!
  10. Really well done! Reminds me of the old Rampage based on the Omni/Horizon
  11. Great concept, good use of the apparently kit-bashed resin tank (interesting history to it!) and great detailing on the engine and elsewhere! Love the livery, too, kinda planned to use it on some similar future work, tried it myself on a Model T once Keep up the momentum, it's looking great!

  13. Wow, that hose reel is so big it’s like it’s in a different scale, LOL! A really unique build of a unique unit, amazing how innovative firefighters have to be when met with these challenging conditions. Love how your work is not only well done and complete, but authentic as well!
  14. Love the look of your build, thanks for the update!
  15. Don't see this one any more here, now they're showing "Endeavour" here. Love those '50's Jaguars and Austins!
  16. If it helps, in my pics I found a rear quarter view of the frame from a 1969 brochure
  17. Yes, easily carved off with a sharp #1 knife and sanded flush. You have to be careful at the cab rear corners, but it’s still easier than on the later “bumpside” cabs Sorry, I don’t have a better picture, but where I’m headed…
  18. Looks great, as does the shop! I admire your persistence and speed! If I may ask, how did you prep the resin parts, I don't want to risk soaking or scrubbing and losing detail or having them turn to mush?
  19. Can't find info on the Morgan Automotive Detail website on prep for their small resin parts, any suggestions on things that work?
  20. Congrats, turned out all right in the end, even better than all right!
  21. Great progress on your replica! Nice comparison shot, little difference between the two except for the middle grille section and longer hood. I'd be tempted to do the grille with Evergreen strip, seems like it just fits into the inset between the (same) light bezels on the older version. Depends whether you're ready to move on or not, though I found making a grille pretty do-able and fun. Nice work!
  22. Interesting how the 1:1 is a flashy two-tone yet lacks the chrome trim. I've been thinking of removing the trim on one of mine, most likely the Flareside, though it's a bit of work> Then there's the interior, trim changes might be welcome, I did a radio delete dash once, again a bit of work. Nice how yours is coming together so fast, keep up the good work!
  23. Nice work on the engine and chassis! I like the labels, neat little details add a lot to realism
