  1. I agree with a post above, "Save the Cobras"!!! Should be an interesting thread.
  2. Very cool and interesting....
  3. Outstanding work and outstanding cars....
  4. These Pocher kits are simply impressive but a bit pricey for me. Here's a youtube video on Pocher model kits.
  5. According to this youtube channel here are the recommended 3D printers for model cars.
  6. Good analogy. Another would be when you copy a VHS movie to a blank VHS tape.
  7. Turned out super cool. Love it.
  8. Anyone?
  9. Andrey-Bezrodny, creator of the 3D model of the 1953 Hudson also has a few other cars for sale at $10.00 including 1 1977 Ford T-Bird, 1967 Plymouth Valiant and a few more. I do not know Andrey-Bezrodny and just stumbled upon him on a 3D car model page on Facebook.
  10. I found this 3D printable file for a 1953 Hudson Jet 4 Door for $10.00 on sales (regular price is $20.00) at CG Trader. I did not download it but thought someone here maybe looking for this car. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/hobby-diy/automotive/hudson-jet-4-door-1953 Cheers Ken
  11. Thanks for the tip.... Cheers from Nova Scotia....
  12. This is gonna be super cool....
  13. Interesting and a very cool candidate for a pro street car...
  14. Love these old Indy and Formula One racers.
  15. I also spoke via telephone to the two other local Michaels in the Halifax area (Bedford and Dartmouth) and both informed me Michaels will no longer be carrying model kits for the near future due to supply issues.
  16. Close to 20 years ago I purchased a Pantera Testors 1/18 diecast kit that had to be assembled in Portland Maine at Kaybee Toys. At the same time I also purchased a Testors Plymouth Prowler 1/18 diecast kit, which also had to be assembled. I still have both on my shelf.
  17. It came out great. I have this kit in my stash but have not had a change to tackle it. Looking after my 93 year old Dad occupies more time then I ever thought...
  18. The four Walmart stores in my hometown (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) used to have lots of car model kits and stopped carrying them just over 10 years ago. Now they only carry diecasts. So sad to see the decline. Amazon Canada sometimes have kits at a good price and being a Prime member, shipping most of the time is FREE. Amazon.COM is a better place for models but my Prime is only valid for Amazon.ca. Shipping from the USA to Canada is often more costly then the purchase price of the kit. If only AliExpress would sell kits...LOL
  19. If it wasn't for their 30 to 40% coupons and Christmas gift cards I get, I wouldn't even bother with them. But one attraction for the nearest Michaels is they are nearby a couple of my favorite stores - Best Buy, Canada Computers, Chapters and Canadian Tire.
  20. For Christmas I got a $50 Michaels gift card from my cousin. I got one last year and along with the 30% and 40% off monthly coupons, I was able to purchase a few car model kits. Today I dropped into the local Michaels nearest me in Halifax (there are 3 Michaels stores in Halifax area) and noticed there was only two car model kits and the shelf area for models was greatly decreased and now occupied with paint by number kits. I asked the sales clerk if Michaels would be replenishing their model stock soon, and she informed me "No", that due to a supply issue with models and paints, they were not. And perhaps would not be selling model kits and supplies anytime soon. Has anyone else in Canada or USA heard this news? I am hoping the elderly lady sales clerk is wrong....
  21. Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada or "Just North of Maine"...LOL
  22. Looking fine. I love your youtube channel. Cheers from Nova Scotia...
  23. This kit looks familiar, I believe they were VW Beetle powered?
  24. Love 34 Fords, gonna be an interesting thread....
