Love 53 and 54 Chevies. My Dad owned one when I was a lad in the 1950s. I cried when he traded it in on a 1957 VW Beetle. I wish I had both the 53 Chevy and 57 VW Bug in my garage. Either one would be a cool stable mate for my 1960 Vette. Your 53 Chevy is very cool...

Great looking hot rod. Love the addition of the flathead. Only thing worse then a Chevy engine in a classic Ford, is a Ford engine in a classic Chevy...LOL Beautiful work... Cheers from Nova Scotia...

Nice car. my neighbor and car cruising buddy owns a real 1968 Charger with a 383. I can hardly hear the usual roar of the 327 in my 60 Vette, when that Mighty Mopar is driving in front of me. That 383 has a loud bark to it.

Turned out splendid. About 30 years ago I built a 1/16 Turbo Trans Am kit. I believe it was by MPC. I no longer have the model as I gave it away to the young son of a friend shortly after building it.
