  1. Good job on the restoration. Nice choice of body color.
  2. Good job. You definitely got the Bellflower custom look down.
  3. Very sharp. Good job.
  4. Cool build. Good job in capturing the look of early hot rods.
  5. Nice start. I look forward to seeing this one finished.
  6. Good job on making a lousy kit look nice. I finished this kit last year and it was fighting me all the way to the finish. It is one of the worst engineered kits I have ever built. Nothing seems to fit well. It seems that MPC slapped together a kit with parts from different Corvette kits. The interior tub is from a 1957 kit, they even include a 1957 Corvette dash. The hardtop is missing the rear quarter windows so I had scratch build that. The chassis is too narrow for the body so the body would keep sliding off the chassis until I glued styrene blocks to the inside of the body to keep it from sliding out. The only good thing about this kit is the box art.
  7. The new grille makes a cool build even better.
  8. I also use a spreadsheet to keep tract of my collection. In addition, I assign each kit a number. Each kit or project then gets a build sheet where I write down the paints and materials used, parts sources and building tips in case I plan on building the same kit again.

    Cool lineup!
  10. Very convincing. Good job.
  11. I can't believe I missed this one. Excellent work. It could pass as a real car. The black paint job is flawless.
  12. Cool box art build. Well built and finished.
  13. Good work on the '55 Chevy. Well finished and built. I also take a small breaks from a build when setbacks occur. It really helps.
  14. I transport my models in baseball card boxes with tissue wedged between the model and the sides of the box. Usually the 550 count boxes is big enough for most of my builds.
  15. Cool that you still have them!
  16. If you are going to use Easy Off, be sure to wear eye goggles and to cover up any exposed skin because it burns when it contacts your skin. I found out the hard way.
  17. I have some old builds that I am going to redo because they were built early in my modeling days and they are horrible or they fell apart over the years and need to be redone.
  18. Good job on the replica. Nice to see a traditional 1932 Ford 3-window coupe hot rod.
  19. Looks nice. That gold really pops in the sun.
  20. Cool gasser. Good work, especially on the interior.

    '60 Vette

Good job. I like your paint and foil work. I built the same kit last year and found it to be a lousy kit. You cannot build an accurate factory stock version. It will take a lot of work to build this kit into a accurate factory stock 1960 Corvette. The interior tub appears to be from a 1957 Corvette kit. I had to scratch build a shift console plate and sunvisors. I had to add the rear quarter window frame and glass and drip rail to the hardtop. It was a real challenge to get all of the parts to fit. The chassis is too narrow for the body. I had to glue strips of styrene to the inside of the sides of the body to prevent the chassis from falling out of the body. If you do plan on building this kit, please dry fit all of the major components at least twice so you won't be unpleasantly surprised later.
  22. Cool duo. Nice job on the weathering on both.
  23. Good job. Too bad the reissues deleted the original wheels and tires.
  24. Cool tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
  25. Cool build. My parents bought a 1981 Citation 4 door hatchback new when I was a child. It was a lousy car but I have a lot of childhood memories in that car.
