  1. I was reading today online that Ray Evernham bought the '58 Impala last year and had it restored. Looks really nice. See the link for more details. http://blog.caranddriver.com/field-car-no-more-ray-evernham-restored-the-58-chevy-impala-from-american-graffiti/ . Nice to see it owned by someone who really appreciates it and not just as an investment.

Excellent build. Very well built and finished.
  9. I use ebay to get missing parts. A few months ago I needed a 1959 Ford Galaxie dash to use with Jimmy Flintstone's 1959 Ford wagon so I bought a whole interior from a guy who broke up a vintage 1959 Ford Galaxie kit.
  10. Very sharp. Good job on the scale replica.
  11. The AMT 1963 Ford Galaxie hardtop has a large rat.
  12. Good work. The working lights are a nice touch.
  13. Good job. Well built and finished. Good work on the foiling.
  14. I finished building one last May. It builds into a nice model. The opening doors can be tricky. The hinge retainers kept coming off so I just glued the doors shut. Also the engine colors on the instruction sheet are incorrect. The engine should be painted Ford blue, the air cleaner white and the valve covers gloss black.
  15. Too bad. I really liked their stuff when I was into military modeling.
  16. Thanks for the review. Very helpful.
  17. Looks good. Glad you stuck it out and finished it.
  18. Cool build. Very realistic weathering. Good work on detailing.
  19. Yesterday I picked up the latest reissue of AMT's 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix and the parts pack dirt bikes set at Hobbies Unlimited in San Leandro, CA. It was my first time at that hobby shop and was very pleasantly surprised at their selection of model kits and reasonable prices. If you are in the San Francisco bay area I would highly recommend this hobby shop.
  20. Good work on the save.
  21. Nice wagon. Good job on the conversion. Thanks for the heads up on the paint problems with his resin bodies.
  22. Cool Rivi. Well built and finished.
