Personally, I prefer straight B-pillars and leaning the A and C pillars in on '30s cars. But it is your build and you can do it as like it. That is the beauty of building model cars. On your original post, unless I missed it you could have lengthened the doors and door windows. you said your engine choice meant surgery to the interior to allow foot room, so the doors would need to be longer for access anyway.

drill out the gauge faces back the openings with clear sheet and then glue gauge faces behind? If your model is not a convertible, will any yellowing be very obvious?

I have used canopy glue to make "glass" windows for mode RR structures and after three years it has not yellowed. Clear paints are an option. Just avoid enamels because they tend to yellow with age.

Gauge decals are available from Gopher Racing, other decal companies, and also on that auction site we all hate. You might have to search their websites for the specific gauges and sizes you need. As for clear covers, how about using punches and clear plastic sheet?

Warning sarcasm here: Why do you need to understand something? That's what engineers, repairmen, chemists, et al. are for. What baffles me is when someone says we couldn't build the ancient monuments today even with our tech. Of course not. The higher tech society becomes, the more we forget and the more dependent (and vulnerable) we become.

Thanks, but that is my starting kit (well technically it is a '60s issue). I believe the different years had a lot of similar parts, but each annual kit had one or two differences. I'm looking to find parts that will look good with the custom station wagon roof from my stash.

Are those Jägermeister decals with yellow or gold?I need a set with gold. I had a paint reaction ruining the hood paint and decals on a BMW hood. I ordered aftermarket replacements, but they were yellow, not gold

Inspirational build! makes me want to breakout my kit and forget about my current builds. but I know my work would be nowhere close to yours. -
you also need to think about what goes down the drain. some chemicals will wreak havoc with the cities water treatment plant operations, or your septic system.

Definitely interested. is there anything you are looking for? Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. been traveling and shoveling snow.

During WWII Europe had some vehicles that ran on coal gas. Coal gas powered Vehicles. Some countries did have large scale conversion of vehicles to cheaper and less polluting propane or LPG. Then they increased the tax on the LPG/ propane a few years later, taking away the cost advantage and incentive to use something cleaner burning. -
ANyone else having issues ordering from Pegasus? I've tried multiple times with different cards from different banks and keep getting a message that my adddress does not match the billing address of the card.

Peter, snuggling and then getting up doesn't work. I guess it is the price to pay for love.

Excellent work. and excellent documentation of the build. If I ever get my 30 or so in progress builds done, I might attempt to duplicate your build. Then again, if I finish the two or three furthest along and master the skills to do what you did, I can up my game on other builds. -
Nice save. I wish we could get a new or re-release of this subject.

The problems I've had with said products was not nozzles. I don't use a dehydrator for my models, but a few years ago I bought an inexpensive dehydrator for herbs from my garden that you can set the temp as low as 100. You could just cut out the center of the trays or make some kind of adapter with a tray and a box or container.
