I will definitely follow this build. I'm curious about how you will handle the retention straps molded into that NASCAR rear window. Keep them or remove them somehow?

I've got it now. That blurry second picture was causing me a bit of confusion.

Actually Saturday, but I finally received my order from Scale Motorsport. After 2 weeks of USPS tracking saying it will be delivered each day, but it is enroute to the next facility

And on top of my previously mentioned morning, my GF got something big stuck in her tire while coming home from out of state. Had to find someplace that could get four tires by tomorrow while she was waiting for a tow truck. When she gets home, I have to figure out what non-critical parts I need to get (I'm thinking at least an inner fender panel).

Let's not forget "Going for a bath in the purple pond". For stalled projects: "i'm waiting for the right part/ kit", "I'm contemplating the next step", and "waiting for the paint to off-gas/ dry (my excuse for a VW Type III started 21ish years ago)"

If I am correct, the Fruit Wagon is derived from the Double T kit. And elsewhere on this site, the engine is said to not be a correct Lincoln

Taking bets on Rust-Oleum / Testors paint.
rattle can man replied to Toast's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have to agree on the Rustoleum cans. I've tried the hot water trick dunking the nozzles immediately after spraying, thinner in the tubes, and nothing works to revive a half can -

We need more of people looking out for each other. Forget your differences and find something in common. Besides, doing something nice for someone brings more health benefit than stressing out and complaining. -

Strange Brew
rattle can man replied to Daddyfink's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
All of those race cars were really sponsored by them. It's just how much merchandising/ licensing they did. -

Are model kits toys. ?
rattle can man replied to Richard Bartrop's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Honestly, it doesn't matter. Life is too short to worry about what others think. If government wants to classify them as toys and exempt them from taxes, all the better for those who enjoy them. What matters is that we enjoy building them. -
