  1. Looking good, Bill. Glad to see this one back on the front burner.
  2. Glad you decided to do a WIP thread on this one. Fine looking 1:1. As I mentioned earlier, and clearly others are in agreement, a shame no TR4 or TR6 has been kitted in 1/24. Ditto the GT6 (and no, that Lindberg mess does not count).
  3. Things are looking good. The engine really looks the biz.
  4. Welcome to the forum Timothy. Nice work on the VeeDubs.
  5. Interesting project. I've bought some C1 stuff, and it's all top notch. I'll be watching this one.
  6. Welcome to the forum, Matt. Some nice, innovative builds you have there.
  7. Welcome to the forum, Eric.
  8. Thanks Tim. Lots of interesting stuff there. Looking forward to the '65 GTO, for sure. Round2 really seems to be gaining momentum.
  9. Sweet little MG. Looks sharp in red. Is this the metal body kit?
  10. That sounds cool. Really interested in the TR4. Keep us posted.
  11. Very nice, Tom. A good clean build, and those outdoor shots have an element of realism. Well done.

    Good looking Mustang.
  13. Good looking Vette. The colour works well with the car, and the Cragars give it a nice period appearance. The owner's manual on the front seat is a neat touch..
  14. Beautiful work. Nice and clean. A lovely racing Vette. Very striking.
  15. Nice work Bill. Everything is coming along great. Dig that deck lid work. I appreciate the effort for authenticity. Very cool project.
  16. The roof work looks good. Well done. The TR6 project is cool, too. Is there a build thread? That’s one of those cars for which I’m surprised no 1/24 plastic kit has been made.
  17. Cool project. Looking forward to seeing that build.
  18. Love, love, love the old school haulers with race cars. Very cool! Is that white Ford panel the old Monogram '55? Looks great stock.
  19. Digging this suggestion. Something like this with white interior would look good on the big Buick.
  20. Welcome to the forum, David. Cheers.
  21. Yes, I agree 100%. How I would love to see these scripts in other kits, and I would happily pay a bit more for it, too, if they are well done. In many cases, much better than PE. Unfortunately some kit makers are leaning the other way lately and replacing 3D scripts with miserably ineffective decals. Unless a kit is an absolute must-have (and with almost 600 in the stash, very few are these days), I won't buy it if the scripts are decals.
  22. I bought a set similar to these for Ferrari, Lotus, and Lamborghini a few years ago. Not sure if these are the exact ones I bought, but they look the same. They are like a self-adhesive metal transfer. The ones I bought look nice, but the 'metal' is very soft and easy to distort when cuttting from the fret, and the adhesive on the back is quite thick, like craft-store spray adhesives. I tried to remove the adhesive with lacquer thinner, but no luck. Other solvents may work, such as acetone, or maybe Goo-Gone. The scripts themselves look very nice. chrome(metal) decals Lambao B (Golden) 2153 | eBay chrome(metal) decals Lambao B (silver) 2153 | eBay
  23. Clear gauge lenses for that custom interior, too. Pretty neat.
  24. Looking good, Mike. The detailing is really making this thing come alive.
  25. That exhaust is, um, interesting. Someone should get that guy a tube bender for Christmas.
