  1. If you happen to find a Fujimi Campagnolo wheel set, the tires are the same as the GT-40 kits.
  2. Stellar build. You have done very well to tame this kit, and I'm going to remember the idea of using the Fujimi tires. Love the paint work, your hand-painting process is working great. Love the build. Top job.
  3. Great looking Merc. Nice work on getting the race car details right. I love the colour. It has that gritty, period race car look. I like the idea of displaying a second chassis with the completed kit. I purchased two Tamiya 300SL kits to do just that. Nice work here, great looking period racer.
  4. I LOVE me some Europa. Don't know how I missed this one. Nicely done, Ray. It has a cool club racer vibe. Looks good in yellow, as Europas tend to do.
  5. Well Done! That roof looks great on the Monte. I like what you've done here. Nice work in getting it all together, and all the body details look just right. Nice colour, too.
  6. That's coming along great, Roman. Love the colour. Very nice engine bay.
  7. Nice looking Goat. The Hurst wheels are a natural choice.
  8. This build just gets better and better. I'm really enjoying watching this build come together. Very impressive.
  9. Tamiya X-22 is pretty tame stuff. I use it over everything without issue, including Testors enamel. However, I would ensure the Testors is fully cured, which can take weeks if applied heavily. Ditto Humbrol enamels.
  10. Cool! I'll be watching this resurrection.
  11. Welcome aboard, Gene.
  12. That is one wicked looking Mustang. I’m generally not a fan of big wheels on vintage cars, but this really works. Gorgeous paint, too. Very well done!
  13. Good looking Autocar. Love those trucks. You captured the rugged appearance well. Looks cool all lit up. Nice work.
  14. Sweet looking combo. The Topkick sure makes for a tidy rollback. Love the GMC 1-ton, too. Lovely work, as usual. Always a pleasure to check out your builds.
  15. Cool Nomad. Love the rake. Digging that colour, too. Well done.
  16. Interesting project. I dig anything Pinto. Don't think I've seen a wide-body build of one yet. Looks cool.
  17. Watching with much interest. Love the Lancia rally cars. Been interested in doing one of these 037 kits for quite some time, and those detail kits are stunning. That engine is looking fantastic.
  18. Cool project, Lee. Really digging that 6.
  19. Year ago Testors re-jigged their paint line, removing some classic colours and adding others. In the process, the name of some colours was changed. Metallic green was one of them. Testors dropped the colour metallic green, and dropped the name jade green, and moved the name 'metallic green' over to the old jade green paint. The clue is in the part number. On the little glass bottles, met. green used to be #1154 and jade green was #1530. Now, met. green is #1530. So, the current Testors met. green is the old jade green. The same is true for Testors metallic blue and sapphire blue. The current met. blue is the old sapphire blue, and the old met. blue colour has been dropped.
  20. Very nice looking Cobra. Nice paint, and super clean build. Well done!
  21. Not an Indy car , but I think the Heller Lotus 49 may have been molded in red.
  22. Yes sir. The Fujimi kit converted to a 1972 with Lusso trim. One of the few stalled projects lurking around the bench.
  23. Just returning to the bench from my usual summer hiatus. Europa project right where I left it last time I sat down here. Trying to remember what I was doing last, getting dug in.
