  1. Wow! decal challenge, for sure. Great looking model. Very well done.
  2. Ditto!! An outstanding example of the craft of model building. As I read the post, I expected to see this was a MFH or some other high-end multi-media kit, and stunned to read it is just the old Merit kit. You have rendered a beautiful old race car from this very basic kit. Simply Excellent!
  3. Nice looking build, Rich. The show wasn't available where I lived, so I have never actually seen it in action, just images online. It certainly looks the part. I didn't realise this kit had features such as the saw blades, etc, or even an engine. A cool, fun build. Nicely done.
  4. Great looking buggy. Nice and clean, and looks good in yellow. Well done.
  5. Looking great, Kurt. It's coming together nicely. I'm enjoying the process.
  6. Wicked cool!. I love pulling tractors. This seems like a very nice kit. The jet engines look to be very well done. At any rate, beautiful execution, and all around very cool model. Love it!
  7. Stunning build, Jason. Very clean work, and great attention to details. The shade of yellow is perfect. The RSR makes for a stellar road car. You nailed it. Excellent work all around.
  8. I'm really digging this build, Bill. Very nice, clean work. Looks like a beautiful kit. I've been interested in this kit for a while, and seeing it built now, I must get one. Excellent work on this automobile legend.
  9. Good looking Nomad. Nice paint.
  10. Good looking GNX, Jason. Nice paint. You pushed through the 'oops' moments to a great result. Nicely done.
  11. Welcome aboard Jason.
  12. Welcome to the forum, Casey.
  13. Welcome to the forum, Ken.
  14. Welcome to the forum, Ethan.
  15. AK Interactive Extreme Metal paints look good. Their brass has a nice brass patina look.
  16. Yeah, looking great. Really looking the part.
  17. Great looking Vette. Very nicely done.
  18. Good looking long-roof Mustang. I love the stock treatment for this build. A nice, tidy build of a very handsome car. Very well done.
  19. Nailed it! Great work keeping it real. That's one bad a** Chevy. Love it!
  20. Well Francis, after 66 pages, I find myself out of superlatives. It sure is great to see this thing in final assembly (and I'm sure you're glad of it yourself). It must be a bit tense bringing these fine sub-assemblies together and doing the final fit-up without damaging anything. Everything looks fantastic, and I'm eagerly awaiting the final reveal.
  21. I like the Testors stuff in the black, plastic bottle when I need a thicker glue. It's not as thick as the tube glue, and it's not stringy. Apply it with a toothpick, etc. It will be more controllable than Tamiya liquid, but not as thick and gooey as the regular Testors tube. Humbrol and Revell also make model cement with a similar viscosity, though I've not used them.
  22. Looking sharp, Bill. Nice work on the decals.
  23. It's coming along great, Kurt. I like your simple brake calipers, they would make a nice addition to a lot of kits. I like the seat piping, too.
  24. It’s stronger too, and has better elasticity. Some of that aluminum tube is not very resistant to bending.
