  1. Cool! That's two Revell oldies in the same day. Nice work on this quirky old rod. This kit and the T-Bone Stake always intrigued me as a kid. Nice job on this one. Very cool! Kind of makes me want to look for an old T-Bone

    OOB Mysterion

This is freaking cool! Perhaps the tidiest build I've seen of this kit. Very well done.
  3. Nice work. Glad to see this kit being built. I bought one about 4 or 5 years ago, and I fully intend to build mine. I'll be watching to see how this goes together.
  4. If you are building for maximum race car realism; paint, polish (but not show car shiny) then decal. Apply wax gently (I use Tamiya wax). Forget the clear. When it comes to ultimate realism, nothing looks worse than a race car with clear.
  5. Wow! Never heard of Beemax Models before. Just googled them; they have some nice looking stuff.
  6. That's very good to know, thanks. It is also safer with regard to the build up and discharge of a static charge. Not a good thing in an atmosphere of volatile vapor
  7. That is a beautiful Ute. Wonderful vision and excellent work. I love it!
  8. Your Porsche is gorgeous. You did a great job, and the colour choices are spot on. The effort to get it together really paid off. Nice work!
  9. Looking great so far. I have been wanting to do a '64 Lightweight for some time now. I'll be watching this one.
  10. Beautiful Ferrari! I love the 250 LM, and you have done a fantastic job building this one. Nice detailing. This kit builds up better than I thought it would. Well done.
  11. That is a gorgeous Lotus. Your hard work in taming the stance paid off well, as you have captured the essence of the Lotus nicely. Nice work on the details. Simply beautiful.
  12. Cheers Paul. The car ID is the one bit I know.
  13. Very cool! I'm digging the period vibe and this is one of the best applications of white wall slicks I've seen yet. Love it!
  14. That thing is freaking cool! Nicely done.
  15. Very nice! Both have that great 70s vibe. Love the colour on the Dart.
  16. Oops! Yup, me too.
  17. Very cool indeed. This is the baddest looking Mopar I've seen in quite awhile. I love it.
  18. The 390 in the AMT 67 Comet (and presumably the 66 Fairlane) has valve covers with the Power By FORD script. The Valve covers are way wrong for a Windsor, but with a little surgery a piece of the 390 valve cover with the script could be grafted into a nice Windsor valve cover.
  19. It's a bit of a chicken and egg scenario, though. The desired improvements cost money. As far as incentive goes, this is a hobby not an essential service. We are all here for the pure enjoyment of it. The fact is if we wish to continue this enjoyment, some revenue must be generated. Therein lies the incentive.
  20. Coolest looking 57 I've seen in a long time.
  21. Yes, yet another legend gone. We are losing them at a rapid pace lately. Sad. Thanks John, and rest in peace.
  22. Thanks for the review. I recently bought some of this stuff but haven't tried it yet. I needed a black wash with a finer pigment than the thinned flat black or semi-gloss black I have been using. This looks like it might do the trick.
  23. I'm interested in seeing what it is like airbrushing this stuff. I wonder if it will be like a more user friendly Alclad II. I'm going to keep an eye out for an affordable source of a bottle of the replacement ink so I can give this a try.
