Back in Nov. 2007 my hours at my job were cut from 40+ hours a week down to less than 20 hrs for several months. Everything got behind including a few missed mortgage payments so our house went into foreclosure. I was so depressed thinking my Wife & I were going to be homeless I threw 100+ built models out with the trash figuring I wouldn't have a home to put them in. A couple weeks after all this happened new owners took over the company I work for & I went back to fulltime. We were able to save the house from foreclosure & everything worked out great other than the regret I still have for being so hasty & stupid & throwing all my models away.
1955 Olds 98 Starfire convertible. My Mom had one in the late 1950's. I was only 6 but I thought that was a gorgeous car. She traded it in 1961.I wish I would have been old enough to have taken it off Her hands. Her car was the same color as this one & had the continental kit.
I like the chrome. Some cars don't look right with it, but the newer Chevys look pretty good. Cars have been bland looking for years using only black or grey as a contrast, so it's nice to see some shiny chrome again.
I got my internet back on after being down for 3 weeks. I made 5 different app with my provider to come & fix it & they never showed up at any of them so I changed providers.
