  1. You beat me to it.
  2. Scale Equipment Ltd. makes some really nice Pontiac Rally II wheels.
  3. First you need to lengthen the chassis. 4-door Torinos had a 4-inch longer wheelbase than the 2-doors.
  4. The flyer says 1:25. Then it says 1/18....
  5. Pontiac honeycomb wheels, done up like the Vectors. Also some new tires and Olds SS wheels for the 84-85 Cutlass. There were pictures on Facebook.
  6. That's really interesting. I just looked at some eBay listings for the 69 side markers and you're right - they are just reflectors. I always assumed that they were illuminated as well. Ya learn something new every day. I still think the 68 Chrysler corporate side marker lights were the coolest of any, but the GM "logo" rear side markers were really cool too.
  7. In 68 reflectors were allowed on the rear quarters (Ford did this) but from 1969 on all side lights were illuminated. Some manufacturers molded the lenses so they would act as reflectors as well as marker lights.
  8. There was a vertical split in the middle of the grille on the 69 Charger.
  9. Mark IV and V were on the same chassis as the 72-76 Thunderbird, which was a lengthened version of the Torino/Montego etc chassis. Rear anti-roll bar from a Mark IV was a direct bolt on to my 72 Montego wagon.
  10. Not sure if it's a copy of the kit part but Speed City Resin does a really nice 8 3/4 axle (scroll down a bit): http://speedcityresin.com/PartsPageChassis.html
  11. I heard that Revell was working on a tool for a very popular musclecar that was designed so it could easily represent two years of that particular car with minor styling differences. That's all I will say. It would have been an impressive kit, a replacement for another company's kit that has been reissued a number of times.
  12. Tim Boyd Posted this message from John Grezcula on the SH board: Message from John Greczula at Round 2 regarding AMT '28A Tudor tool All: This morning, John G. asked me to post this message from him on his behalf... ************** "Gentlemen, After receiving multiple direct emails and learning of this thread, I feel the need to quell some of the lather that seems to be foaming over the edge of the glass of conjecture: Make no mistake. The '28 Ford project has been on the radar, in the hopper, etc. for quite a while now. A certain veteran AMT Kat and I discussed it at length, years ago already. The tool exists but is far from usable in its present state. As you all know, the majority of it was repurposed for the '29 kit. There is VERY little left in the tool and the gaping holes left by the removed inserts would need to be filled with new blocks containing sprue lines designed to flow plastic to what IS there. This is not a trivial or inexpensive process. However, it is something that I want to see happen as much as the rest of you. As for just including the parts with a reissue of the '29 pickup/woody, well, I'd rather do it right. Some parts no longer match with the '28 parts. Further, if we were to spend the money to resurrect this kit, we'd need every sale possible. A large portion of the mass market clientele would not want to have to "figure it all out" for themselves. You guys? Sure, you could do it with your eyes closed. But to make the investment worthwhile, it'd have to be a little more accessible to modelers of lesser skill. Rest assured, it's at the top of the list of kits to try and bring back. I make no promises, as there's always some unexpected problem that gets in the path of making headway on some of these cool projects, but we do listen, we do care, and we do what we can to keep the entire available market at least a little bit happy. Thanks for your interest and support. John" *********** TB

  14. Scroll up a bit and you will see all the parts included in the kit.
  15. Let's hope Revell gets back up and running under the new regime. There was some really cool stuff being developed when the axe fell.
  16. "Work car" concept would work better if they made a ten-year-old Camry or Accord kit.
  17. I have an AMT 66 Mustang hardtop kit in a Union box.
  18. "Picky, picky, picky."
  19. There was one in diecast. Can't remember the manufacturer. There were pre-marked versions for several departments, and a plain white one to do your own thing with.
  20. I have the Country Sedan as well and wish I had ordered a Colony Park.
  21. How about a 71?
  22. Then you need to find an early Hemi and make a few mods.......
  23. The Phantom Vickie chassis fits well under the Revell 32 Ford kits, and the Revell chassis fits the Phantom Vickie.
