  1. Beautiful!!
  2. Superb build! If you bring this to shows, you will win awards. Very well done.
  3. I’m in for one. Support Round2’s new tools when you can! Plus, it’s a good looking car with lots of possibilities.
  4. Hi Jonathan, Ford trucks were restyled in '73, so the Moebius kits would not be your best course of action. Right now, the AMT '78 Firestone pickup is your best starting point, with the addition of a resin '74 grille (Rookie Resin?). Note that the AMT Firestone kit has the "Camper Special" extended wheelbase long bed, so you will have to convert the wheelbase yourself, or find a resin long box with standard wheelbase. (I think MAD Resin did one, IIRC?) Or, if your Dad's truck was a flareside, you can add the Moebius '66 flareside box. Hope this helped.
  5. Superb! Very easy on the eyes.
  6. This build is AWESOME! Keep up the great work!
  7. Awesome build, my friend! You did a great job with this imperfect kit. Beautiful.
  8. Very nice! Great details and subtle weathering. Your wife was right, you do nice work. Thanks for sharing. Please continue to share!
  9. Thanks. That is how it is on the kit decal sheet, and was on the actual car, per the photos on the box side. I don’t know what happened to it on the 1:1.
  10. Got a chance to take some outdoor shots recently. I added them to my Fotki album: https://public.fotki.com/fivets/my_model_cars/1965-afx-plymouth-s/
  11. Ooooh, that IS good lookin'! Great mastering and casting. (Plus, no work removing those huge mold lines/misalignments on the kit piece!)
  12. Off-the-charts cool! You nailed it. The Dennis Lacy Hot Rods brand is strong.
  13. Beautiful! So clean. Thumbs up.
  14. Interesting. Thanks for the info! I love learning the eccentric details of these historical builds. I took some studio photos today. A new thread is posted in Drag Racing/Under Glass.
  15. Here is my box stock build of this beautiful kit. Detail, fit, engineering, decals - all top notch. I highly recommend this kit. The only items used that were not in the kit box are the hood pin decals (Ace decals) and the windshield class designation decals (Slixx). Thanks for looking. 16. Hi Mike. The kit windows are molded with those. I believe they are supposed to be the window frames. However, the kit pieces only represent the verticals that you see on my build, not the rest of the frames. Below is a picture showing the white frames. I agree with you on the day one look - clean!
  17. Beautiful! I’ll need a ‘64 conversion set when they are ready.
  18. Finished it! What an awesome kit! I cannot recommend this one enough - superior quality and buildability. One of my all-time favorite builds. I’ll take some outdoor pictures this weekend and post an Under Glass topic. More build pics at the Fotki link above, posted earlier. Thanks for looking.
  19. Very cool! Nicely done.
  20. Some of the 1/25 Revell ASA Camaros from circa 1989 have a V6. I don’t know the liters/displacement though. Not sure if this is any help, but there it is.
  21. Awesome build! Too cool.
  22. I posted 3 images above. The link is there if anyone wants to see more.
  23. Thanks again, everyone. I. bought a set like those on the engine above in Ace’s post. I also found these 3D-printed SBC pipes on eBay and bought a set. I have options for my ‘56 build now. Build on!
