  1. A real treat! I always enjoy looking at your hover car builds. Excellent weathering and “gadgetry”! Very cool.
  2. A 1/25 AMT NASCAR chassis should fit under there quite nicely. Those kits go for cheap too. Then just add your 1/25 Mopar engine of choice. The rear suspension is solid axle w/ truck arms. But so are current NASCAR chassis, like Rob mentions. At the very least, you could use the AMT NASCAR front clip on your chassis of choice. Hope this helped.
  3. In a video posted to the Salvinos JR Facebook page this past Saturday, he states a tentative release for the Charger kit as “end of summer“.
  4. Great tips here on making the kit body look better! I will certainly use a few on my build. I don’t know about the red stripe either, but there is a red stripe included in the Salvinos JR Bobby Allison 1981 Riverside winner kit also. It is a red stripe for the top of the grille.
  5. I have a hard time getting most Moebius kit boxes completely closed after opening! It’s a nice problem to have. The hood for the white car in my AWB kit is either highly polished or clearcoated. It is much shinier than the rest of the parts, not bagged, and a slightly different color. Is yours the same?
  6. YES! Great news. I’ve always liked this body style, and already have the Powerslide sheet to do Neil Bonnett’s #75 Valvoline car.
  7. So the safe bet is that the coupe is coming back in 2020 also?
  8. Just took delivery of one from HLJ. Here are some pics:
  9. I love it! Well done!
  10. Thanks, Jonathan. Agreed - that wheel engineering is beautiful!
  11. Beautiful build! The driver figure really sets it off too.
  12. A beauty! Iconic build. Nice job.
  13. 2n1? Awesome! I’ll need two.
  14. What, you didn’t want that Lindberg skeletal human foot model from the Colonie store? LOL Disappointing model selection, for sure. The 1/64 diecast selection is nice though. I grabbed a few Auto World cars yesterday.
  15. Agreed! I like the R8 too.
  16. Beautiful! Nice save. It’s got the look, for sure.
  17. VERY well done! Great replica. Nice use and retrofit of kit parts.
  18. Same here. As of two weeks ago, we now have two stores, four exits (10 minutes) apart on the interstate.
  19. Agreed. I will buy a ‘63 just to support the effort. Plus, I kind of like the asymmetrical wild custom treatment. I would get a Charger too, but not if there’s a lack of clear window option.
  20. Cool! I have the 935 K2 from Aoshima/Beemax. Is this the same tooling family?
  21. Is there a kit source for a correct 1/25 ‘70/‘71 GTO Judge deck spoiler? Or something close for a starting point? Thanks.
  22. Thank you for your time and service to this forum, Dave. Much appreciated!
  23. Great job, Jim! With the right backdrop, you could fool folks with this build. That’s how realistic and well done it is. Love it.
  24. Stellar build. Magazine cover quality work here. Well done, sir! Cool truck.
