  1. Nice paintwork, Bernard. Nice and clean and a good color combination. Well done! Scott
  2. That is just so amazing! Such tight detail in 1/25. Wow! I hope to see this one in person someday.
  3. I've been taking shots at this Supervan for a few years. I finally landed one. It's a clean, complete build that is not a glue bomb. Very restorable. Just need decals.
  4. Freudian typo. I'm a teacher ; )
  5. I've been looking at the Lost in Space robot for a while. Pure nostalgia. One finally came up cheap on e-bay. When it arrived, I was surprised at how small it was. Notice the dime on the box. It's just about 1/25 scale, so I can be worked into a modeling project. It's on the shelf waiting for a burst of creativity.
  6. Great subject, incredible job on the weathering. Looks like a well used survivor.
  7. According to the instructions it is. Put it on a teacher and let it go!
  8. Per request here are the contents of a 1946 Monogram streamliner. Enjoy.
  9. Just picked this up on e-bay. It's a good companion to the Monojet car I got a few years back. They are vintage 1946, but they do not seem to command a big price - under 20.00.
  10. Thanks for brining up King of the Mountain! I loved that movie!
  11. Speed Racer, the movie. Not as good as the cartoon series if you ask me.
  12. You can have over 100 models in your house and people may think you are a bit obsessive, but not insane.
  13. I had these from the 70s. Sold them on eBay. I also remember a magazine article about someone detailing a grand prix car they got as a cereal premium.
  14. I built the blue version way back when. I think I never got the body to tilt up or the grill to tilt forward. The doors opened so that was a win.
  15. This has to be the oldest stalled project I have. It was originally a Revell 31 Delivery built box stock back in the mid 1970s. In the late 70's I channeled the body onto the fenders, added lots of white putty and threw it in the scrap box. I fished it out in the mid 80s and completed the bodywork with and eye towards under body aerodynamics. The chassis was built, then I got stuck on the front suspension. I got that figured out, but it's way back in the line now. The engine exploded when when I dropped it on the garage floor.
  16. I guess this can go here. It's the J Car Bud Anderson built from the MPC kit that bore his image. I bought it from him several years ago. He was a fun guy to talk to. It's good to see some of his history on other projects.
  17. Hey Joe, Mobius makes the flying sub. They are listed on eBay for a reasonable price.
  18. Jack FM which is generally rock.
  19. I think there was a TD Bulldozer Snap kit too.
  20. I've been gathering parts to do the same thing. I'll be watching. I'm sure it going to be on par with your other excellent builds.
  21. This rough custom parked out side Goodwill was pretty cool. But riding alongside this guy on our way to work was just awesome.
  22. Thanks for your insights Randy. I think if the seller would have put material under the model it might have saved the axles from snapping.
  23. Ultimately cool, Dave. I been watching your progress. This whole time, I thought it was a cool race car. Wayyyyyyyy bad aZZZZZZ as a street car.
  24. It is too much to expect that a built model will arrive as pictured in the ebay add? For the second time I bough a fairly expensive built model only to have it arrive broken. This time it was the old Monogram chopped 32 coupe, which is mint in the eBay pics. As soon as I won the auction I contacted the seller and asked them pack the model carefully. I said I would pay for additional packaging. No response When the model arrived, it was in the small box with red plastic bags on either side. That box was wrapped in a black plastic bag inside another box. When I carefully lifted it out, I saw both front axels snapped off and a head light knocked off and somehow one of the lenses split. Can I fix it, yes. But I really just wanted to put it on the shelf. I get that shipping models is tricky. Am I expecting too much? Scott
  25. No problem, Len. It's nice to know someone remembered it. I hope it works for you.
