Well things were interesting in Jax , 90 mph winds and 200 billion gallons of water , according to the news casters . Power went out Monday morning around 2 , it woke me up , the transformers were going off like popcorn . were without power til Wed morning , 3:30 , had the generator running , so no big deal , except that it blew a transformer in my ac , had that fixed yesterday and now we're up and running again . Lost a few tree limbs and a couple of fence panels . Cleaned up , cut the grass and all is well .

Every update has the storm moving further west ,good for us guys on the east coast , bad for guys on the west coast . Generator all gassed up and ready , hope for the best.

Got thru my surgery today and made it home , at my age any time you get cut on it's a gamble.

I would think the alcad would qualify as paint , so yeah.

I just wouldn't buy from anyone named " Spoogie " .

All of my models are in individual clear boxes , so no dust gets on them , same with the diecast , each has it's own display case . i just look at it as part of the cost of building a model . Now the boxes are a different story , but much easier to clean than models .

Having no idea what it really costs to put out the magazine , your $40,000 is short 2 issues at 6 per year at $10,000 per , and the assumption of $20,000 in web site dues is probably pie in the sky . While we can all wish for things to be different , maybe what Greg really needs is our support and understanding that he's doing a difficult job the best he can right now . The hobby is much better with the existence of the magazine , no matter what the schedule , than without it .

Another idea would be to use aluminum or brass tubing , both are also available at Hobby Lobby .

Just got a notice for PB telling me they will no longer support 3rd site photo hosting and urging me to sign up for their premium unlimited plan . They also said my photos would be available to download from the site if I wanted to. This probably should have been sent out before they started their change over .
